Silent and Stoic (Mori X Reader)

Another friend of mine, who is quite Mori-Obsessed, asked if I might write her a Mori x Reader. You'll hardly see me write about OHSHC, unless my friends request. Anyhow, here it is! I hope my work is satisfactory

Character: Takashi Morinozuka (Mori-Senpai)

Takashi Morinozuka. The most tall, handsome, and stoic male of the Host Club. With his dark, shady, secretive eyes, and his brutish frame, you often found yourself day-dreaming about him constantly. Mori-Senpai. The man of your dreams.

Sadly, you were always much too shy to enter the threshold of the Host Club. There were just so many young men your age there, and you were always awkward around boys. Especially when they were Mori's accomplices. What if you made them upset, and they convinced Mori to hate you? All the worst case scenarios ran through your mind in a continuous loop of nightmares, much so, that you didn't even notice where you were.

That is, until you were hit full-on in the face by flower petals. What the heck?! Flower petals, in the middle of nowhere?! Then, you suddenly felt yourself tense up. When there's flower petals, there's also the Host Club.

You walked straight into Music Room 3. Instantaneously, you began to curse yourself out mentally. What the freak did you do?! But more importantly...did Mori witness your stupidity?!

"Welcome to the Host Club!" a bunch of happy voices chorus. You look around, right past Tamaki, as he continued to run his mouth. When you saw Mori, in a neat, blue uniform, you instantly turn bright red. Ah, why couldn't you be 'normal'?

"I take it you're here to see...THE KING!" Tamaki grins. You sigh, as you have no interest in seeing him. You only had eyes for Mori. But how would you tell him that? You absolutely hated it when you had to tell your true feelings, but only when you believed they would hurt someone else's. That's because you were too caring for your own good, sometimes.

"W-well...actually..." you stammer, turning redder by the minute. "I-I was hoping....that....maybeIcouldseeMoriSenpaitoday?!" You instantly feel like an idiot as you blurt out your request. Is that blush...? Yes! Mori-Senpai was blushing at your request!

Tamaki winks at Mori, elbowing him in his strong torso. Mori frowns down at his friend, then made his way towards you so he could host you. He didn't even have Hunny with him! It truly was just the two of you, alone, and together.

"So." Mori normally didn't speak much. Not that the one word he said was much...but, he normally never spoke first. It phased you slightly. He only speaks a lot with Hunny, and that's because he cared about him beyond belief.

Wait...does he care about you too?!

"S-so...." you stammer, twiddling your thumbs and blushing crimson. "How are you today?!" That was the stupidest question to ask in your mind. Mori nods curtly, signifying that he's good. He was still blushing, and you found that adorable.

"M-Mori?" you stumble. "If you don't mind me asking....why-why are you blushing?" Mori's face increases in color at that comment, and you feel bad for asking.

"I mean...uhm...."

"I'm blushing because you're so beautiful," Mori admits, running his words together awkwardly and twiddling with his thumbs. You feel every particle of blood rush to your head, and you try to conceal it. Then, you give up.

"M-m-me?" Mori nods in reply. You smile to yourself, looking straight into his gorgeous eyes. Dark, stormy, and secretive. Stoic. And speaking silent words of love to you.

"I've always thought you were beautiful," he smiles slightly. You were shocked. Not only did he say that you were beautiful, but he also just smiled. He smiled at you. It was the most amazing smile you've seen in your life. Something the whole world should see, but doesn't have that opportunity.

"Thanks," you blush. "Uhm...I've always thought you were extremely handsome...." Now it was Mori's turn to flush crimson. Except on him, you thought, it looked cute.

"Thank you," he nods, clearing his throat. Now that you've spoke to him, you found everyone's opinion of him wrong. He was actually only slightly awkward, and much more adorable than people seemed to let on.

He may be silent and stoic, but deeper in, he was much more. And you loved him all the more for that.
