It's been three days since the surgery. Dr. Waller said things are not improving like he had hoped. Today was the day I was suppose to start regaining memory, even if it was a small detail. Instead I met my best friend Rebecca today, I also got wheeled to Shaun's room who was the driver during the crash and who has been in a coma since the night it happened. I was then formally introduced to the women who fled my room crying a week ago, Ms. Weathers who just happened to be my mother.
The man who goes by the name of Shane who caused all of this according to Rebecca has been paying our the hospitable bills and has been funding my stay, I have yet to meet him but I feel as if that is a good thing.
Yet with every person who came to visit me, not a single memory was sparked. A loss of conversation faltered the room with silence, they came and went along with my hope at getting back to my life, all with dissapoint in their eyes. I felt helpless.
"Claudia." A voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Dr. Waller." I nodded in his direction. He looked at me with a pained expression but I adverted his gaze in hopes it would make the pity go away.
"We are going to run a few more tests and based on the results we recieve tomorrow we will decide what our next action is."
I nodded silently as if my head wasnt raging on spinning huricans through my head. He looked back to his clipboard for a moment and left the room.
I layed back on the stiff white board resisiting beneath me and drowned in my thoughts.
