Officer Jackson climbed into the drivers seat I was thankful I didn't have to sit in the back were it was separated from the front with a cage like thing. I twiddled my fingers and tapped my foot impatiently as he started the car making my whole body shake.

"Your tapping is getting quite obnoxious." Officer Jackson remarked his eyebrows furrowing in the middle.

"Sorry Officer." I snapped and stopped shaking my foot. He chuckled and looked at me.

"Call me Sam." He said staring at me I shifted uncomfortably under his stare.

"Ok Sam. Keep your eyes on the road please!" I remarked waving my hands toward the windshield in frustration. He barked with laughter not bothering to glance at the road.

"Your unbelievable!" I screeched as he sped up still looking at me. He laughed again and finally turned toward the road. I sighed .

"Your snappy, and bossy. Good thing you're cute." He said glancing at me.

My jaw snapped open most likely scraping the bottom of the car floor.

Was this Officer hitting on me right now!?

I huffed and crossed my arms. I would just ignore him this wasn't the time. I gazed out the window for the rest of the ride trying to ignore the feeling of his eyes on me.

I was out of the car seconds before it even stopped when he pulled into the police station parking lot. Officer Moore was already headed toward the door and I jogged to catch up with him not wanting to be left alone with Sam again.

The station was still a ghost town and the lady at the front desk once again didn't bother to even look up as she clicked away on her computer. Her glasses sliding off her nose before she pushed them back up.

"Its not nice to stare." A voice came from close behind me and I snapped my head to Sams face which was a near three inches from mine.

I caught my breath and backed up a little. He smiled and I scowled turning around and following Officer Moore.

They led me into a messy office. The desk was piled high with papers. Officer Moore motioned to a seat on the other side of the desk as he sat behind it. Sam lingered at the door leaning against the door frame.

Officer Moore searched through a pile of vanilla folders.

"Ok Victoria." I perked up sitting nearly on the edge of my seat.

"Jackson shut the door would you." Sam pushed himself from the door frame and closed the door plopping down in the seat next to mine smirking at me. I ignored him waiting for Officer Moore to speak but I couldn't wait much longer.

"Have you found her? My sister. Is she ok?" I asked the words spilling out of my mouth in a jumble.

"We haven't found her." He answered making my heart sink. I leaned back in the chair frowning.

"We do have a lead though but its faint and its not one that we want." He said frowning making wrinkles appear on his forehead.

"What do you mean?" I said scrunching my eyebrows together.

"We had a few eye witnesses that gave us a clear description of the man who took her that night. The description came up as this man." He handed me a picture. John Randall was his name and he was a strikingly young man but he looked terrifying.

"We have been after this man for years he has a list of felonies and he doesn't seem to hide very well but he is clever and every time we get a new lead of information on him he's gone with a new name or appearance."
