Bruno's POV
I put my pick between my teeth as I write in the next lyric to my second unfinished song, my guitar feels heavy in my lap but I set the pencil down and retrive my pick to play the riff I came up with yet again.
"B, we're done for today," Phil starts walking over to the door. "We can keep trying tomorrow." I stop playing and glance over at him before I look back my notebook sitting on the keyboard in front of me.
"Imma stay here for a while longer." I reply
"Alright, Later." He pulls his coat on and walks out the door, closing quietly behind him.
I set my guitar on it's stand and turn a few pages back to the other song that I've been working on. I place my hand on the keys, close my eyes and slowly the notes come. As the music builds, progressing to the chorus, I start to sing. Word after word, pours from my lips. When I stop I quickly jot down the lyrics I sang and I keep playing. It might take all night or longer to write this song, but it beats staying at home. G snores in the corner, curled up in a dark ball, he doesn't seem to know what to do either.
I take a sip of water and get back to writing, at least this is something to pass the time.
There's only so many songs that I can sing to pass the time, and I'm running out of things to do to get you off my mind...

Izzie's POV
"Yesss! It's finally finished!!"
"Yeah." I say.
"Izziah, your readers will love this." Alex says as he lifts my final manuscript over his head.
"I know they will." I say to him as I watch him spin around in his chair. He puts the manuscript back on his desk and looks at me.
"What's up with you?" I feel his look grow stronger. "Did something happen?" Concern grows on his face.
"It's nothing Alex. It's not something I want to talk about, ok?"
"Alright." He replies. "Well I'm going to get this to my boss and the date will be made for the release. I'll call you as soon as I hear." He puts the manuscript in his out box.
"Thanks Alex." I stand and walk out of his office.
I stop at Chipotle for a quick lunch and then I head to my apartment. I set my stuff down, take off my shoes and head straight for my office to work on some spread sheets for the supplies I'll need for the next couple of weeks for Fashion Fly products. After costing out everything I type up a list and set it aside with other paperwork. I start on a bracelet while I watch Law and Order: SVU. By the time the show is over I've gotten through 2 bracelets. I check the time. Seven-thirty. I tie off the bracelets and set them on my desk before I slip my shoes back on and pick up my purse.
Three months of swamping myself in work has done nothing. Yeah, I've recently gotten a lot done at Grodito's with Devi, published my newest novel with Alex and I've gotten rave reviews on my Fashion Fly products but not much has changed. I still think about him all the time. He walks the halls of my mind at every moment. I see him song writing in the living room of his apartment, sitting there for hours until he can come up with the perfect words to pair with each melody. The way he would smile at me when I called him. Or the little things he used to do for me, to me; just to make me laugh or smile. His cute dimpled smiles that would get me every time. Cooking breakfast, calling me in the middle of work just to tell me he was thinking about me. I can't keep doing this to myself.
I walk up to Devi and Tim's apartment.
"Thanks Devi."
I take Lani's leash out and clip it in to her collar.
