I can't believe it. This nigga got the address. How? Angrily I dial Augusts number. He picks up in the second ring.

"Hey babe."

"Where are you?"

"Ok...no greetings I guess. I'm on my way to treys house."

"No need. He just stopped by."

"He did?" He asks in a panicked tone.

"You idiot." I hang up before he can reply.

20 minutes later August barges in to the house. He joins me on the couch.

"Hey..."

I ignored him.

"Come on k. I'm sorry."

"What were you gonna do?"

"Nothing."

"You wouldn't have his address for no reason August. You wanted to kill him didn't you?"

Silence.

"What would that have done. Other then put you in jail."

"I get it k."

"No, i don't think you do. If you would have killed him. You wouldn't have only hurt him. You would have hurt yourself and me because your ass would be locked up."

" I just wanted to protect you."

"I get that August, but killing a guy won't protect me."

"I'm sorry."

I scoot closer to him and he wraps his arms around me. "I know."

We sit in an comfortable silence for awhile before he interrupts.

"This situation makes me feel like I don't know anything about you."

"you know things about me. But just a small portion. You know Kiana. You don't know heaven."

He look at me confused. "Who's heaven?"

"Me. That's my real name."

"So what's Kiana?"

"Middle. I just like it better. I never thought i was worthy of a name like heaven. Heaven is this amazing place. I don't deserve to be named after it."

"Of course you do. Don't downgrade yourself."

"Mhmm. Tell me something about you."

"Well... My real name is August so..."

"You think your funny don't you?" I look at him.

"Comedy central material."

I look at him weirdly.

"I'm kidding heaven."

"That sounds weird."

"I like it."

"Of course you do. But seriously aug tell me something."

"You know about my brother?"

I shake my head.

"His name was Mel..."

We spend the rest of the day getting tot know each other better. Who knew that August Alsina had to go thru so much.

August P.O.V

Heaven?"

"Yeah?"

"I have to tell you something. Don't freak out ok?"

"What is it?"

I sigh. "Ok so while you were in the hospital, my ex trinity stopped by. She was wearing this coat and shit and she started kissing me and I didn't immediately push her away and we were about to have sex but I stopped it."

She gets up and grabs her phone.

"I'm leaving."

"Heav! Nothing happened."

"I know it's just gonna take me some time to process everything."

She leaves. I fucked up.
