A smile spreads across her face. "Look at you all grown up."

I shot up from my bed holding my chest as I breath heavily. It was just a dream Heav. Calm down. Just a dream.

I grab my phone and see a text from August and one from Alexis. I open August's first.

Fuckboi😴✌🏼️: wanna grab some food later?

I don't know what August is trying to do. He should know that we ain't cool just because of what happened. But I did miss hanging out with him.

Heav🍑👅: no. You can bring some food to
me tho.

I close the message thread and open Alexis's.

Lex😏💞: you got to get back into the studio and start on this album.

K.H.😍😊: Now? 😩

Lex😏💞: you got today off but ur ass better be in the studio tomorrow at 6.

I sigh. Well i guess I'm getting no sleep. I close the message thread and a text from August pops up.

Fuckboi😴✌🏼️: I'll be their in 10.

I go into the bathroom and do my hygiene. I rack my closet and pick out a pair of sweat pants and a oversized sweatshirt I stole from Tristan. I go downstairs and turn on the tv. About 20 minutes later theirs a knock.

"Wassup beautiful." He smiles holding some McDonald's. He pushes past me and throws himself into the couch.

"What kind of nigga gets McDonald's breakfast at 1 in the afternoon."

"All day breakfast my nigga." He passes me a Egg McMuffin and a yogurt parfait.

"How did you know I like the egg ones the best." I smile biting into it.

"Cause I know you." He smirks.

"No you don't."

He smiles. "Yeah I do."

"If you knew me you wouldn't have cheated on me cause you would've known that shit was foul."

His smile drops. "I'm sorry." He mumbles.

I know I'm acting like a bitch and giving him a hard time but can I really ever get over this? I CANT. I really wish I could. But he seemed hurt by this situation maybe I should ease up I hate seeing him sad.

"You good. Thanks for the food, you were the only one who ever fed me out here."

His smile returns. "I told your fatass I gotchu.

I nod.

So how's the music going?"

"I'm starting to work on my album tomorrow."

"That's what's up. The single was fire even though it got me feeling some type of way."

"Why would it make you feel any type of way!"

"Don't front. I know it's about me."

"Mhmm." I continue to chew my food silently.

"Is their anyway you will ever forgive me?"

"I don't know what the future holds. I guess we just have to wait and see."

Silence overcomes us.

"I..."

"You what?" I ask curiously.

"Remember when you asked if I loved you?"

"Yeah.."

"Do you really?"

"If love is you can't stop thinking about someone. Then yes I love you. If love is you can't function without that person. Then yes I love you. If love is getting nervous when your around that person. Then yes I love you. If love is caring about one more then any. Then yes I love you. If love is any of the above, I guess I do love you August."

He looks at me for a moment then he grabs my face and pulls me in for a deep kiss. At first I try to stop it but I couldn't. My head wanted one thing while my heart wanted another. For once I picked my heart to take over. The moment became more intense once he picked me up bridal style and climbed up the stairs. We didn't stop kissing until we reached my bed.

I look at him confused. "why'd you stop"

"I don't want you to feel like you have to do anything heaven."

I pull him back my eyes full of lust. Allowing him to continue.

He kisses my neck hungrily.

Let me tell you. August knows how to put in that work!
