Sooner than expected

After eating, I had to discuss the tour with Phil.

"So what's up with the tour?"

"Um it's going to be delayed for a while."

"Why?" I asked.

"The dates for Tokyo are all fucked up, man."

"What happened?"

"Things like ticket sales but its alright everything is taken care of."

"Oh great."

"You think your family is going to be okay with this?" Phred asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well you and Jessica have been dating for like a year now..."

"Yeah a yeah an a couple months what's your point?" I asked grabbing a cigarette.

"My point is you and Lori just got back together and now you wanna get married and-"

"You got a problem with what I'm doing Phil?" I said holding the cigarette in my mouth as I lit it.

"No man not at all I'm just saying-"

"We were supposed to get married all those years ago, Phil. You remember. I promised her anyways."

The guys were quiet.

It actually made me think.

What if my family wouldn't be accepting of the choice I've made?

I knew that some people would be mad, especially Tiara, but I loved Lori Anna.

They just were gonna have to get used to it.

"I understand."

"We are happy for you bruno."

We talked a little bit more and the guys left.

I was just sitting there thinking about what they had said.

I felt arms around me.

"Hey big daddy." I smiled.

Lori squeezed me and kissed my cheek.

"Hey." I said.

"You okay in here? What's going on with the tour?"

"I'm fine baby. I'll be alright as long as I've got you." I looked back at her and she smiled and hugged me tighter.

"I take it that you might have been a little upset with the news then."

She came and sat on my lap. She rubbed the back of my head and I rested my head on her chest and let out a sigh.

"Mmm." I groaned.

"It'll be okay, honey. Whatever it is, it'll be okay."

"I love you..."

"I love you more. Now get up."

"Lori Anna-"

"Get up!"

She hopped up and pulled me up too.

"What? Where are we going?"

"We going to finish what we was doing." She said smiling at me.

I laughed as she pulled me into the bedroom.

"You must really want it, huh?" I said.

"Shut up and get in here."

I woke up and I smelled Lori cooking.

I got up and went into the kitchen.

"Morning baby." I yawned.

"Morning sleepy head. How you doing? You slept for a long time."

"What time is it?"

"It's almost 12:00 in the afternoon."

"Damn!"

"Here's your plate baby."

"Thanks babe. So I've been thinking."

"Uh-oh. What's going on in head of yours Peter?" Lori said.

"My family and your family."

"My family?"

"Well how about we invite my family and your family and tell them together? About our engagement." I said eating my food.

Lori turned around from the stove and looked at me.

"Have you lost your mind?"

"Lori."

"Have you forgotten what happened last time I introduced you as my fiance? Momma kicked you out of the house and told me never to come back. And my sisters-"

"I remember but we're all going to be family pretty soon."

Lori walked over and sat down next to me.

"I understand why you think this is a good idea but it was really stressful for me, especially being... in that condition."

"Yeah but this could be good for us."

"Bruno there's something I have to tell you. Remember when we were...well we were at the beach and we admitted that we were still in love with each other..."

"Yeah..." I smiled.

"And then we started fooling around..."

"yeah..." I looked at her.

"and then we got into the car and we..." my eyes widened.

"Lori are you saying that..."

Lori grabbed my hand and put it on her stomach. I looked up at her.

"Surprised?" She said nervously.

"Oh my goodness this is incredible." I said.

She moved her hair behind her ear and smiled.

"I having your baby...again." she laughed.

Lady

I watched Bruno smile as he rubbed my belly.

I moved his hand.

"Don't say anything to anyone." He looked up at me.

"What? Why?!"

"I don't want them to think that's why we're getting married. I don't want to be judged by anyone."

"But-"

"No just keep quite about it."

"Well do you think the dinner is a good idea"

"Well I- I don't know. I- I don't want things to get messy like last time."

"Baby I promise you nothing is going to happen. It'll just be one night and it's just dinner. They won't even have time to talk they'll be eating."

"Uh okay. Okay we'll do it. We can do it and we can plan it a week from today."

"Oh yes. I promise you it's going to be great."

Bruno hugged me.

I knew that this was going to be a bad idea, but he was so happy.

I mean my family was rough around the edges and my mother...she would jump to destroy any chance of happiness I have.

If she wasn't going to at least try to accept me getting married she couldn't know about the baby no one could.
