The next morning

I was walking on the beach early that morning.

I laid down in the sand and just thought.

I was thinking about Lori Anna and everything that happened the night before.

Then surprise, surprise I saw her walking toward me.

I stood up.

"I didn't know anyone else came here." She said.

"Small world." I said coldly.

"I need to talk to you, Bruno."

"What happened to your face?"

"Nevermind just listen-"

"Is that a ring? Why do you have a ring on your finger? Who did you get that from?" I said getting up.

"Tommy, but listen-" she grabbed my arm and I pulled away from her.

"Why are you telling me this lori? To torture me?!"

"No. No. No no baby I'm telling you because I don't love Tommy Lee."

My eyes widened.

She looked down and then looked at me with watery eyes.

"I love you. My one and only. I love you so much and I shouldn't have ever let you go. And I'm sorry... I see how selfish I was... I was just-"

I walked towards her and put my finger to her lips.

"No more talking baby. Just kiss me."

When my lips touched hers I felt as if I was home again.

I felt the world envelop us.

"I love you Bruno."

"I love you too baby."

I had my soul mate again.

"What does this mean Lori Anna?"

"You know what I don't know. Alls I know is that I want to be with you and nobody else."

I grabbed her hand and pulled her along the beach.

She giggled.

"Ahh Bruno where are we going?" She laughed.

"You'll see."

I ran with her to my car and we got in.

It was still pretty early in the morning, nobody was out at the beach.

Lori sat in the front seat of my car and smiled at me.

"Nice ride." She said.

I smiled at her.

"I wanna play you something." I said.

"Something like what?" She said grinning.

"Something that reminded me of you every time I heard it."

"Well now I have to hear it. Did you write it for me?"

"I didn't write it. It's an old song, but just listen to the words."

"I'm a little scared now."

"Don't be." I grabbed her hand and I turned on the radio.

When the song started playing she placed her hand on her chest.

"Aww Bruno."

There'll be no darkness tonight
