"Where am I? Bruno?"

"I'm right here baby. I'm right by your side."

"What happened?"

"Well you fainted and you were unconscious. You're at the hospital."

"Some dinner party that turned out to be..." I whined as I started to cry.

He kissed my forehead and grabbed my hand. "That doesn't matter. All that matters is that I love you. I love you baby."

"I love you too." I rested my hand on his face.

The doctor came in.

"Hello Ms.Williams you gave us quite a scare."

"Hi doctor. So what exactly happened to me?"

"Seems like you had a traumatic brain injury brought on by stress."

"Sweet merciful heavens. Will I die? I can't die doc. I'm finna be a momma."

"You're gonna have to find a way to control your stress. You're gonna hurt yourself and your children."

"I'm sorry doc I...wait. Children?"

"As in more than one?!" Bruno said.

"We're having twins doc?"

"Well Lori, when you arrived we preformed a sonogram on you after Bruno told us you were pregnant and we found this."

He handed me the sonogram.

"Oh my god. Bruno?"

"Shit." Bruno said.

"There's three of 'em."

"Wow." Bruno said. "So we're having, triplets?"

"Yes sir."

He patted Bruno on the back and he froze up.

"Bruno?" I called him and he was staring straight into space.

"Are you okay baby?"

"I'm going to leave you folks alone."

"Thank you doctor."

After the doctor left I started talking to Bruno again.

"Baby are you alright? Talk to me. You're scarring me."

"Huh?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yes I'm okay. I'm just thinking."

"About?"

"There's three of them in there." He said rubbing my stomach. "I'm a father to 3 kids. What if they don't like me?"

"Aww Bruno there going to love having a dad like you! Don't be silly you're going to be an awesome daddy. You're remind me so much of my daddy. He was an great dad just like you'll be."

"You really think so Lori?"

"I know so baby. Out of all the daddies you gone be the best of the best."

"You don't how much I love you Lori Anna."

"Come here." Bruno grabbed the back of my head and kissed me.

"We only are having triplets cause of you."

"Me? No baby it was you! Looking all sexy. I can't help it girl."

"Well next time control yourself." I said grabbing his chin.

"I'll try my hardest... literally."

"You're so damn nasty." He kissed me harder.

I was so happy to finally have a chance with a real family.

Bruno was still kissing me but I heard the door crack open so I pushed him off me.

I looked at the door and it was my sisters.

"Lori anna, thank God you're okay." Tonia came and kissed my forehead.

"We're glad you're okay too." Said Tisha.

"Baby sister we are so sorry for the way that we've treated you. You didn't deserve it. And none of it ever should have happened."

I looked at tracy.

"You really mean that?"

"Baby sister I mean it more than anything in this whole wide world."

She got on her knees and held my hand.

"If you would let me, I'd like to be apart of your wedding." Tracy said.

"Me too" said Tisha.

I felt tears forming in my eyes.

"Of course y'all are in the wedding!"

They gathered round and hugged me. This was perfect it was all I wanted...so why didn't it feel right?
