I say you don't need nobody else
Feels like you don't got me

So you feel like you've been by yourself
I've been feeling kinda down myself

I've been going through it as well
Girl, I guess time will tell

That's the problem, I ain't got any left
There's somethings I can't help

But you would make the time for me
Oh, isn't that something that I should know?

Kelly

"Nothing we haven't done before," Melena smiled.

I looked from her to the weed laying in the rillo that was iced with powder.

Her tongue swiped the edge, allowing her to roll the thin blunt.

She took it between her fingers, lighting it and pointing it towards me letting me have first hit like always.

"You let that hoe drug you? What the hell." Cordell looked around then back at me.

"Let me hit em!" Kyron yelled.

Dell put his hand up, "I call first," he necked the fuck outta me along with Kyron slapping me.

"Anyway, I still don't know what to do. Cari ain't said one word to me since that night, she'll whisper it to Karma and have her tell me." I rubbed my stinging neck.

"Cause you stupid." Kyron mumbled.

"How both of them child support cases lookin?" I asked and he gasped loud as hell.

"Whatever. But ay look," Dell got my attention. "First, we gotta dig up some dirt on the white boy, then you gotta ask her on a date, but not a direct date. Somethin with the kids but they gotta be able to leave y'all alone."

"Alright alright. But how the hell I'ma get dirt on that nigga and how I'ma get her to say yes or even speak to me?"

"Why don't we all just go and bring the kids? She wouldn't say no to that," Kyron shrugged.

"See," Dell pointed to Kyron with his thumb. "If God can give this nigga brain, I can get Jayda back. Bless up," he grabbed his keys, heading out.

"Alright let's go." I stood up, walking towards the door and Kyron followed.

Kyron and I went our separate ways and I got in the car, deciding to go say what's up to Mel.

"She's so trifling for not talking to you... then she has the nerve to wonder why you come talk to me," Melena laughed.

"Yeah, and then I did some foul shit by telling Dell's business in front of his wife so that got him kicked out and living with us."

"Wait, he's staying there with her while you're not there? And you actually trust them?" she leaned forward as I sat back on the couch.

"Yeah, they're like brother and sister. They don't see each other like that," I shrugged.

"That's what they all say, just be careful."

I looked at her for a minute, then shook my head. They wouldn't.

Melena had a way of getting inside your head, but at the same time giving you someone you felt like you could confide in.

"I say, you should just leave her alone and if she doesn't come back to you, that gives you the okay to move on."

"It's not that simple," I chuckled. "And I'm not tryna give up that easy. About to get a p.i and just do any and everything I could think of."
