"I'm so damn tired." I yawned.
"Me too." Jayda said.
"Oh please, you have half my number of kids and you weren't up all night cause Kamden would rather be up then go to sleep."
"D3 has his little nights, but he's been doing good for mommy." she smiled giving him a little squeeze since she was holding him.
I looked down at Kamden and she smiled, leaving a glop of drool on my olive green colored scrubs.
"Go to sleep." I mumbled.
"Mommy," I heard and I looked down to see Kannon running up, with Knight.
It seemed like the older they got, the more attached they got to each other.
Just like when Kannon got in trouble last week and Knight started crying.
"Yes?"
"Snack time?" Knight cheesed.
I reached in the fridge and got them both two apple snack packs and told them not to give any to Boo and they scurried along.
"What's going on with you and Kel-"
"I'm sorry, but can we just talk about my ex for a moment." Jordyn said, coming back from changing Alaina in the bathroom.
"Sure, I wasn't saying anything." Jayda rolled her eyes.
"Kyron's done flipped the brick." Jor said and we laughed.
"Is that code that he sold drugs?" I giggled.
"No, it's code for the nigga's gay."
It was like in movies where the music instantly stopped cause it wasn't all fun and games anymore.
"You've got to be kidding right?" Jayda asked as the doorbell rung. "I'll get it."
"No. He told me first, and I guess that's probably why he couldn't stay faithful, cause I'm not his sexual preference. If only he'd told me that before two kids."
"Well not to throw shade buttttt..." I laughed as Jayda walked back in with Maky following.
"Hey baby," I smiled and he gave me a kiss before standing behind me as my hands sat on the kitchen counter.
