"I can't do it," I sniffled, looking down at the divorce papers in front of me with my elbows sitting on the counter of the kitchen.

"Maybe it's a sign y'all should stay together." Jayda said and I scoffed, standing up straight.

"Yeah. He could've learned his little lesson," Kyron shrugged.

"I doubt it, I thought that the last time. He thinks just cause I have his last name and there was a ring on my finger, I should put up with all his bull and I'm not."

Was I supposed to take him with open arms, when if the shoe was on the other foot, I'd be the worst person on earth?

Avoiding him for over a month may have hurt him, but it hurt me to do it, but I didn't feel like hearing the same excuses, same apologies.

"C'mon 'Ri. It's been a month and a half since you've talked to or even seen him. At least check on the nigga, he's losing it." Cordell rubbed my shoulder before going to the side of Jayda and wrapping his arm around her.

"The question is, do you want him back Cari? Cause it's clear he wants you, but you're so scared of what everyone else will think if you get back together, but it's not about everyone, it's about y'all. And I'm sure all your kids would prefer growing up with both of their parents together and happy." 'Dell preached.

"Who did he even cheat with?" Jordyn asked.

"Some hoe, Ashley Falkov." I shrugged.

"Oo, I fucked her." Kyron said.

"You've fucked everyone." Jordyn and I rolled out eyes.

"It was years ago, she got AIDS now though."

"What?" my head snapped his way. "Oh my god." I slapped my forehead. "Why would he mess with her in the first place."

"Seems like you got a lot to talk to him about. Go see him." 'Dell smirked.

"I don't want to." I crossed my arms.

Cordell sighed and shook his head, walking up to me. One of his arm locked around my stomach and he grunted, lifting me up and carrying me to the front door.

He leaned down, still keeping me up from the floor and put the nude heels on my bare feet one by one.

"Okay," he dropped me and I grabbed onto the doorknob to keep from falling.

"You get on my nerves." I huffed, going back to the kitchen to get my keys off the rack and my purse.

"Love you too," he chuckled.

"I'll be back. Karma and Kaelan are at school and the twins are in the playroom with Zya." I checked my bag to make sure my phone was in it.
