If only there was something I could do
Besides watch a family fall apart.
I can do nothing but watch
In grimaced horror, as the nightmare unfolds in front of my eyes.
If only there was some other way.
If only I could repair the broken.
If only it was all a dream.
If only...
But this isn't a dream that we live in.
This is a nightmare, brought straight From the depths of hell to unnerve us.
If only it had been some mistake.
If only I could do something.
If only the world didn't have to be this way.
