43. Luhan (Strange Love) Part 2

I stared at the other wolves. I tried to stand up on my legs, but I couldn't.
"You'll have to get use to walking on your four legs," one of the wolves said.
"This can't be real," I said. I stood up on my legs and ran out of the cave.
"Y/n! Stop!" I heard Luhan yell. Suddenly a wolf jump in front of me.
"Sehun!" I said and stop running.
"You know Carvin and his pack is still out there? They'll find you!" He said. The other wolves caught up with me.
"Y/n, it's fine. You have us," Suho said. I lower my head and walked back to the cave.
"There's no way for us wolves. We have become wolves and will stay till death," Suho said.
"My family, friends," I said and cried.
"It's ok. We'll be your family," Luhan said. I nod. We arrive at the cave.
"Kris, Lay go hunt for food. Baekhyun, Sehun, go hunt for wood for a fire. Tao and I will go hunt the opposite direction of Kris and Lay. Everyone else stay here and guard the cave," Suho said. I sat down and lay like a dog.
"Are you ok?" I looked up and saw a gray wolf.
"No," I coldly answer.
"It's ok. I have gone through what your are feeling. I'm Chanyeol," he said and at down next to me.
"I'm Y/n," I said. Chanyeol nod.
"What.... Was your human life like?" He said in a sad tone. He must have missed it so much.
"I'm a college student at Stanford," I said.
"Stanford? I remember hearing about that school! Doesn't the smartest nerdy kids go there?" Chanyeol said.
"Hey, I'm not nerdy," I said.
"Jinji? Your Korean is very good," he said.
"Ne, I'm fluent," I said.
"How was your human life?" I ask. Chanyeol laid his head down.
"I was a new trainee at an SM Entertainment with the other members. We were VERY new so we haven't had fans yet. One day, we went camping and..." He trail off. I nodded.
"Chanyeol, it's ok. I believe there's a cure out there for us. We just have to find it," I said. Chanyeol smile.
"Would you like me to introduce you to the members?" He ask.
"Sure," I answer.
"That's Xiumin," he pointed to the wolf scratching his ear.
"He's the oldest and can be very immature," Chanyeol said.
"There's Baekhyun, he's the funniest and loud wolf in Exotic," Chanyeol said.
"There's Sehun, he's serious annoying," Chanyeol said and rolled his eyes.
"Hehe, he doesn't seem like to," I said. He had blocked me from running and carried me to the cave.
"You don't know him yet," Chanyeol said. I chuckle.
"Luhan was the white wolf. He's has a very kind heart and fun loving," Chanyeol said. I looked at Luhan. He was talking to another wolf.
"He seems very nice," I said. Chanyeol nodded. He told me more about them and each members. For some reason, Luhan was the one I really cared to pay attention to. The wolves howled. Suho and the rest of wolves ran into the cave.
"Carvin is coming!" Baekhyun said as panting.
"Didn't he learn his lesson the last time?" Sehun said.
"He's after Y/n. He wants her dead, immediately," Tao added. I heard a howl.
"Stay behind the rock," Luhan said and push me behind a huge rock in the cave. The wolves block the cave's entrance.
"Well well. Exotic Pack eh? Haven't met you guys in such a long time," Carvin said. I couldn't see what's happening.
"What do you want?" Suho snarled.
"Well, you guys have something very valuable to me. I believe her name is... Y/n," he said. How did he know my name is Y/n?
"She has very important powers that shouldn't exist," Carvin said.
"What's this power?" Tao ask. I curl in a ball. I have powers?
"It's top secret. I'm here to end it all," he added.
"Go through us first," Luhan said. The wolves growl, howl. I heard pounding and snarling. They were fighting. I peek my head over. The wolves were bitting each other. I wanted to look away, but I couldn't. My tears started going down. Sehun and Tao fought a wolf and killed it, but Sehun fell to the ground.
"Sehun," I mutter. I knew I shouldn't jump out and save him, so I close my eyes. One by one, each wolf fell, till it was just Luhan and Carvin. They both had blood on their fur.
"Luhan, let me have her. I'll make you a deal," he said as panting hard. Luhan kept silent.
"I'll let you and your pack turn back into humans. I have the ability to do that. Just let me have the girl," Carvin. Luhan turn his head at me and then Carvin. My heart was beating at 100 million miles per hour what will he say.
"You can go back to your trainee life, find a girl to settle down with, save your members, and be very famous and rich. All you have to do is to kill Y/n or let me do the killing," Carvin said as faintly smile. Luhan lower his head and looked at me. His eyes, told me something.... Oh no
"Carvin, I want to agree with you, but no. I'm killing you," Luhan snarled and lunges at Carvin. They bit each other. Carvin turn his head and but Luhan, in the neck. Luhan stop and fell to the ground.
"Stupid. You and Y/n will die, including your members," Carvin said.
"Now Y/n, I'm too tired to play games. Be a good wolf and come out," he said. I breathed hard. He walked closer and closer. I hid behind the rock. I climbed I on the rock and waited for Carvin to walk pass the rock. I jump onto him and bite his neck. He shook my off and I fell to the ground. I got back to my legs and jump at him again. I bit him, kick him. He turned his head and but my hind leg. I turn the favor but him again. This time, a flash of light glow. Carvin closed his eyes.
"No STOP! Your powers!" He yell. I bit him again and again, till he laid on the ground, lifeless. I ran back to the pack.
"Y/n," I heard a familiar wolf voice. I saw Chanyeol laying on the ground.
"Chanyeol!" I ran over to him.
"I'm find. Help the other members," he said and tried to get up. I ran over to Luhan.
"Luhan," I mutter. He barely was still breathing.
"Luhan," I said and cried. The other wolves were badly hurt, but they laid there. I walked over to Sehun who had blood coming out of his front legs. I lower my head. Lick to heal my mind talked. I licked his front legs. The lights appear again and the wound closed up.
"How did-"
"I don't know Sehun," I said. How did I do that? I lick the members wound and they got all up.... Except for Luhan. I lick his wounds, but the magic didn't work. Why? All the members are heal and healthy again, but why can't Luhan be healed. I place my ear on his chest. Nothing. My tears fell. I sat down and laid my head on his body. I cried and cried. All of the sudden, a light burst through his body. He floated up in the air and so did the other members. The light wrap around them. They drop back down again, but they weren't wolves... But regular mortals and human. Luhan drop down and into a living, man with cute features.
"You.... You were our cure!" Suho said. They were all cute boys in rag clothes.
"You saved us," Luhan said. I smile. I was still a wolf, but sometime carried me up. The lights blind me and I open my eyes again and I saw that I was on the ground, wearing my clothes.
"I'm back. I'm a human again!" I said. Luhan and the members smiled.
"Thank you. We owe you our lives, especially me. You saved me," Luhan said. I smile and hug him.
"You all defend me and thank you," I said. I kiss Luhan shortly.
"I love you. Thank you for choosing me when Carvin made the deal," I said and smile.
"I don't care. I rather try saving you, then begin a human and remember that I killed my love to become human again," he replied. Luhan and the rest of EXO continue their trainee life and for me? I return to Stanford and continue my life. I would call my new boyfriend on the phone or FaceTime him.
"I promise. I'll visit China with you in the summer," I said and smile happily.
