Oli POV

Ok, I'm sorry, but working at Starbucks is soooo baaaaad. Customers are rude as hell, and they barely give a tip. And then there's the creepy people who go to Starbucks hoping to get a phone number written on the cup. I hate those people. At least once in a while we get some interesting customers who are the source of entertainment. Like Mrs Kelly, wearing something super inappropriate for an 83 year old.

We had a new customer I've never seen before today. He had darkish hair and bluish greeny eyes that I couldn't name as a colour. He wasn't too tall and not too short and he obviously had a great music taste judging from his A Day To Remember shirt. To be honest, he was hot, and I was panicking. Being socially awkward with hot guys around is never good.

To my absolute horror, he walked right up to me. 'Hi.' He said. Well. Even his voice was amazing. I snapped back to reality when he waved a hand in front of my face. 'Huh? Oh yeah, sorry about that.' I apologised. He laughed. 'No worries. Can I get a coffee? Stay in, please.'

'Yeah, sure. That'll be £2.00 please.' He handed me the money and I set about making his coffee. I wasn't really thinking, and I started humming to myself as I worked. I think it was something by All Time Low, I can't really remember.

'Do you sing?'

'What?' I was shocked at his random question, and I looked at home in confusion. Never had a customer tried to spark up a conversation with me. 'I was just wondering. You sound like you have good rhythm from all that humming.' He said casually. I think I flushed slightly. Don't ask why. 'Well, I guess I kind of sing. But I prefer to scream.' I said slowly, then I noticed the look of surprise on his face and my own fell. 'Bet you think I'm some kind of emo weirdo now, huh?' I muttered, turning back and finishing his coffee. 'No, actually. Screaming's really cool. I'm actually looking for someone who can scream...' He trailed off and looked at me hopefully.

I just stared back, probably looking like an idiot and not understanding what he was talking about. 'Why, you in a band or something?' I asked.

'Yeah. We're call You Me At Six and we just wrote a new song. It needs a bit to be screamed, but I'm not too good at it.' He was still looking at me with that same expression. 'Well that sounds cool. I'd like to be in a band. I can play keyboard, but one man bands don't really work out, do they?' I deadpanned. 'There's always Panic! At The Disco.' He said, and I laughed, handing him his coffee. 'You should probably take that, it's gonna get cold.' I smiled.

He smiled too, and slipped something into his pocket.  He checked his watch. 'Damn, practice. I gotta go. Um, catch you around?' He asked. 'Yeah, sure. I'm pretty much always here.' I said, boredom creeping it's way back into my voice. 'Ok, well, uh, bye!' And he dashed out of the shop. I sighed. Alone again.

I noticed an empty cup on the counter. I picked it up to put it away, but turning it over in my hands, I noticed writing. It read:

"So hey, my name's Josh and your name is Oliver, I read the name tag. You seem like a great guy, and I don't even know who you are, but do you wanna get coffee sometime? At somewhere that isn't Starbucks? It be great if you said yes :)

Number: xxxxxx-xxxxx call me lol (tips inside.)

I just got someone's number on a cup.

'Hey, Josh?'

'Yeah? Who is this?'

'Um it's Oli from-"

'Oli! So, not Starbucks?'
