Chapter 28

I stood outside the nursery looking at newborn Brianna Ayanna, maybe Griffin. There was no doubt she was a beautiful baby, but honestly I don't see Blake in her at all. Maybe it was just my mind playing tricks because I didn't want her to be his. I don't know. She was born almost 3 hours ago, and all her mother was focused on was my husband. Blake was doing his part for the DNA test.

"She's beautiful isn't she?" I heard Blake say then he wrapped his arms around me

"Yes she is. How did it go?" I asked

"Fine, we're gonna rush it so we'll know by tomorrow." He said and I nodded

"Blake." I heard and we turned to see Ciara being pushed down the hall by Deb. She was smiling until she saw me

"What is she doing here?"

"I'm here to support my husband."

"Blake will you come in with me to see our little girl?" She asked with a smile

"Um I don't think that a good idea."

"Why she's your daughter? She needs her daddy." She snapped

"Look I think it's in the best interest of everyone, that I don't have with her until we have the DNA results come back." He said and I took his hand in mine, Ciara looked at our joined hands then glared at me

"This is all your fault!" She snapped

"I think you should calm down." I said and she jumped out of the chair

"YOU BITCH! THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" She jumped at me but I pushed her back and she stumbled then came back at me, but Blake stood in front of me

"Calm down!" He said trying to restrain her as Deb called for help

"YOU BITCH I'LL KILL YOU, THIS IS MY LIFE AND YOU TOOK IT FROM ME!" She screamed as the orderly came and pulled her away she kept fighting until they sedated her. Then they laid her on a gurney and took her away

"Are you okay Mel?" Blake asked me and I nodded

"I'm fine I'm just worried about her." I said nodding to the baby, and Blake sighed

"Come on let's go home. We'll come back tomorrow." He said and we headed home. We paid the babysitter. Then I check on Nate, then I checked on Austin who was awake and fussing a little, it was about time for his midnight feeding so I picked him up and brought him into our room. Where Blake was getting into the bed and he rolled his eyes when he saw Austin in my arms

"He does this on purpose." He said as I sat him on the bed next to him, Austin just looked up at Blake and smiled. He's only 5 months old but he loves his daddy, Blake picked him up and laid him on his chest and began talking to him. I went and changed into my pajamas, and found Blake asleep holding Austin to his chest, and Austin was still up trying to get out of his grip. I got in bed and gently pulled Austin from Blake's arms. I fed him then he went to sleep, I laid him in between us. Then I laid down trying to fall asleep but my mind was buzzing with thoughts.

Today we didn't really leave the house we just hung around waiting for call if the baby was his or not. It was taking forever, I was moving around trying to keep myself busy. Right now Austin was napping so Blake and I were watching 'Big Hero 6' with Nate. We always made time to have one on one time with him, that we has before Austin was born. Blake was in the kitchen getting some more popcorn when he called me.

"Babe come here."

"I'll be right back babycakes." I said then kissed his cheek

"Okay mommy." He said all in to the movie. I got up and went into the kitchen where Blake was standing with a huge smile

"What?" I asked

"She's not mine." He said and I froze

"What?" I asked needing to hear it again

"She's not my baby. We're free." He said and I laughed then jumped into his arms

"Oh my God!" I said as he picked me up

"It's over." I said and he kissed me

"It's all over baby, we don't have to worry about her anymore. It's just you, me and our boys."

"Like it should be." I said and he kissed me again

"Until I knock you up again." He said and I laughed

"Can we please wait until Austin is at least a year old."

"I can try but no promises, especially when my baby momma is so sexy." He said kissing my neck making me giggle.

"We gotta get back to Nate." I said as he set me on the ground

"We'll finish this later Mrs. Griffin." He said then slapped my ass

"Behave then we'll talk." I said then walked back into the living room and wrapped my arms around Nate then kissed his cheek

"Stop mommy." He giggled

"I just love you so much." I said then kissed his head as Blake came out the kitchen with the popcorn. He picked up Nate and sat him on his lap and wrapped his arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder. Enjoying my time with my boys, so happy that our nightmare is over.
