I felt the bed dip, then arms wrap around me and a kiss was placed on my shoulder, I smiled and rolled over to see my husband
"Your home early." I said
"Yeah we decided to just come back tonight." He said
"Well I missed you." I said leaning in kissing him
"Hmm I missed you too." He said against my lips
"Nate missed you too, he was so mad when you guys lost. I thought he was gonna say his first bad word." I joked and he laughed
"I can't believe we lost like that."
"Aww babe you played your best."
"No I didn't I got fouled out, and I only played 16 minutes." He said upset
"Okay maybe you didn't but, so what you were having an off day, you'll get those assholes next time." I told him he just pulled me close and started kissing my neck over and over
"I don't want to talk about that anymore, I just want to show my wife how much I missed her." He said climbing on top of me, we quickly got undressed then we were making love. No matter how many times we've done this I just can't get enough of this man. Afterwards we just laid there in each other arms
"I love you Mrs. Griffin." Blake said kissing me
"I love you too Mr. Griffin." I said and soon we drifted off to sleep.

Yes I am married to starting power forward of the LA Clippers Blake Griffin. My name is Melanie Griffin and here's our story. Blake and I met during our sophomore year of college he needed a biology tutor and who just happened to be at the top of the class, me. I knew who Blake was because I was a cheerleader, and he was the golden boy at the time. I had never really talked to him, it took 4 months of him flirting and romantic gestures before I gave in and said yes to going on a date. It was great in the beginning but things went sour. When instead of finishing school Blake decided to go to the NBA. We had been dating for almost 6 months at the time, don't get me wrong I was proud of him but I was pissed because he didn't tell me until the day before he had to leave. We had a big fight and he left I refused to talk to him for almost a month afterwards, I did miss him and was proud of him for making it, and being selected 1st overall. He had called me every day but I didn't pick up, I could be really stubborn when I want to. He came to see me after the draft and we talked things out, and he tried to convince me to come with him. He wanted me to transfer over to USC, so we could be together in LA but I told him I would think about it. I made my decision to move out there when Blake injured his knee just a few weeks before his first game, he was so upset. Then we found out that he had to have surgery on it and would miss the whole season. It was a stressful year for the both of us but we got through it, and he was back on the court in the fall and when he started he blew up. His first game he scored 20 points, then was voted on to the NBA all-star team for the west coast, then went on the win both the all-star and all-star rookies games that weekend and he won the slam-dunk contest. He was also named rookie of the year, I was so proud of him and I felt so lucky to call him mine. He was very supportive of me too, and when I graduated 3rd in my class from USC he was there front and center shouting the loudest. After graduation I went on to medical school at UCLA and he never failed to let me know how proud of me he was. I'm now in the middle of my Trauma surgery fellowship at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA, and Blake and his team are in their 3rd year of the playoffs, we're hoping that this is their year. I'm not gonna lie things have been hard with both of our very busy careers, and there were short break ups in between but we always found our way back to each other. The night before game 1 of the playoffs in 2011 we were at dinner with the team and their families when Blake stood up got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, I shouted yes of course then we went to our room to celebrate. On our celebration night we got a little carried away, because three months later I found out I was pregnant. Six months later I gave birth to a healthy baby boy who we named Nathan Thomas Griffin. I've never seen Blake more excited that than when he first got to hold our son. We had gotten married 4 months after I had Nate, now 3 years later we're as happy as can be of course we do have fights and things like that but we're good.
