The farther we moved into the park, the quieter Dark Link became. Finally, I stepped off the trail and entered into the trees a few yards before stopping on a fallen long. "This is much better," I sighed, sitting down, gesturing for him to sit as well.
He sniffed, wiping away his last tear. "Sorry about that," He took in a deep breath and let it out.
Almost magically, his tear stained face and bloodshot eyes returned to normal. "Link always said I was a little over dramatic," He sat down on the log and looked at me curiously, "so what is it you want to know?"
"Well, Dark Link," I cleared my throat, "I-."
"Hold it!" Dark Link crossed his arms in front of him like an X, "As I said before, do not call me Dark Link!"
He sighed and looked dramatically up at the sky. "Seems you'll just have to watch my memories for yourself to truly understand me."
"Watch your memories?" He said it as if it was as simple as watching a movie, "how?"
"You've haven't figured out how to do that yet?" Dark Link looked at me like I was dumb, "that's, like, the simplest power from the Triforce of Time."
"How do you know that?" I asked, growing more wary of him by the minute, "the Triforce of Time isn't even suppose to exist..."
"That's what you think," Dark Link smirked, taking my hand and placing it to his forehead.
Like usual(whenever I used whatever power I have), the golden triforce shone like a hoverboard above my hand.
"Just concentrate on the past and myself," Dark Link smiled and closed his eyes, "and I'll think of the moments I want you to see."
And with that, the world around me faded away completely and I was lost in darkness.
