Jascisce, with notebook and pen in hand, went out of the building and into the gardens. Moonlight made the gardens glow at night, and a cool wind blew through the trees and plants.
She admired the plants, flowers, and topiary; they were a sight to behold, and on a beautiful night like this, Jascisce was inspired to write something.
She ran towards a stone bench and lay her fox half over it as her way of sitting. She opened her notebook and began to write:
The night is cool as the breeze blows in.
The night is bright as the skies grow dim......
Meanwhile, the Fox Sisters Ahri and Danbi were walking in the garden. "The night is beautiful," Ahri commented, her tails playing with her blue orb. "Ionia has seen many nights like this," her sister Danbi replied, walking around in a figure 8, "I'm happy to be born there." "So do I," Ahri replied, "By the way, have you sharpened your swords already?" "Yep," came her sister's reply, "I always do."
They turned round a corner and headed towards a stone bench. That's when Danbi saw ... her.
"Hey sis," Danbi said, "do you see that girl over there?" "Yes," Ahri replied, "In fact, she has your fox half." "And your human half---I have white hair---"Danbi replied, " except that she's wearing a turtleneck and a beret, and glasses." "She must be a secret impostor!" Ahri replied, "Do you think we should attack her?" "She does seem awfully quiet," Danbi replied, drawing out her swords, "She's writing something, a poem." "So she's harmless?" Ahri replied, "we have to know for sure." "Let's go meet her," Danbi replied.
[Author's note: Danbi is not really a champion in League of Legends. However, the author is willing to put her concept in different League forums. Now back to the story.]
...
Jascisce was putting the last few words to her poem when she suddenly felt a fist hit her cheek, and she fell down to the floor. The next thing she knew, she was being beaten and kicked by the two Sisters.
"Ow! Hey! Watch it!" Jascisce cried, "It's bad to hit a girl with glasses!" "Oh," Ahri said, "I'm sorry. I hope we didn't beat you too hard. I just thought you were an impostor." "It's alright," Jascisce replied, checking for bruises which luckily, she had none, "I was busy writing a poem---wait a minute, are you the two Fox Sisters?" "In the flesh," Danbi replied, "I am Danbi and this is my older sister Ahri!" "Oh my gosh," Jascisce exclaimed, "I can't believe it! You two are often picked for the Rift Games! I watch you on TV, and I follow all your matches." "We thought you were an impostor, sorry bout that," Danbi replied, giving her back her beret, pen and notebook. "It's fine," Jascisce replied, "By the way, I'm Jascisce, ex-singer of girl group The Feelz, currently actress, owner of StarFox Coffee, and poet under the name The Demitasse Drinker."
"Wait, the Demitasse Drinker?" Ahri asked, "The author of the literary folio entitled Take a Sip: Poetry of a Coffee Shop Owner and its sequels A Warm Cup and other Stories over Coffee, Time for a Break, and Just Mix Well and the writer of the literary column entitled Read and Relax ?"
"Heck!" Danbi replied, "those books sold out in all Valoranian bookstores like crazy, even those in Piltover. It's a good thing we have all those books before. Also whenever there's a newspaper every month, we usually turn to that section and read." "Yes," Jascisce replied, "Even back at home in MetroTopiaPolis, everyone is rushing to buy the newspapers just because of that." "I see," Ahri replied, "Let's sit and chat, shall we?"
The three fox girls sat at the stone bench and chatted all the way till nine. Then they went back inside the Institute.
...
It was nine-fifteen when the thirteen met inside the guest common room. "Finally, everyone's present!" Illoaide said, " Thankfully, this is a large guest room, and as such, the bedrooms are large and so are the queen size beds."
"As of now," Concorde continued, "the Myrmidonians will be sleeping in one room, the silkmoth people in another, the Scorpion monarchs in a third, and Mako and Varblah in a fourth. As for the four of us, we each have our own rooms, which are the four ones at the back. This leaves us with Jascisce..."
"We overheard your chat and got that one covered," Danbi said as she opened the guest door. The twelve were in awe at who they met, exchanging whispers among themselves. "Your friend here, Jascisce, can sleep with us," Ahri added, "We already asked permission from Dorm Councilor Montgomery Whiddler." "Whoa!" Myrrah said, "Good luck Jascisce!" "Thank you," the fox girl replied, "See ya in the morning."
Jascisce then brought her suitcase out of the guest room, shut the door, and followed the fox champions to their room.
Meanwhile, Concorde said, "That girl is lucky!" "Luckier that I remember," Mako replied, "I can't believe the dorm managers were able to get a copy of the latest folio by Jascisce, Just Mix Well, and place it in the room. I haven't even read it yet."
"How's the wound, Q-Tip?" Targon asked. "Soraka said it's a minor wound, so I can recover fully by tomorrow, " Quth'thkareph replied, "You?" Myrrah heaved a sigh, and answered, "Dr. Kennen, though the small ninja yordle champion that he is, told me the worst news: rest more, no strenuous activity, and eat more nutritious food." "What's so bad about eating more nutritious food?" Kith'nxepris asked. "It's not the word nutritious," the Myrmidonian queen replied, "It's the word more."
The four monarchs sat at the sofas, and Kith spoke, "Listen here, Myrrah. We know that you are a fitness enthusiast and you take care of your health, which is fine by us. But this time, you are not just taking care of yourself; you are also taking care of your future twins. That is why Dr. Kennen, MD asked you to eat more healthy food. It's not just for you; it's also for the children so that when they come into the world, they will be healthy like you two. You may take my word for it or not. The choice is yours."
Myrrah spoke nothing, and then Kith'nxepris said, "Get some rest, maybe that will help you decide better." "He's right, my love," Targon added, "let's get some sleep. In fact, let's all get some sleep."
