"Welcome to Summoner's Rift!" the announcer called out as the crowd cheered. On the blue base, five champions materialized at the stone area: Ahri, Danbi, Elise, Ezreal and Lux. On the red base, five other champions materialized: Syndra, Rengar, Ashe, Tryndamere, and Blitzcrank.
Master Yi was looking at the champions at the Rift and he noticed something strange on Syndra's hand: a purple hourglass. "This is strange," he muttered, "very, very, strange." "What is?" Concorde asked. Master Yi lent him his Seven Lenses of Insight, and said, "Wear it," he replied, "and look at Syndra's hand."
Concorde wore the goggles and looked. Then, he gasped in shock. "What is it?" Illoaide asked. "Look at the girl with white hair. You might need these goggles," Concorde replied.
"No need for that. I have far vision," the drider replied, and looked. "It's a purple hourglass on her left ha--," Illoaide said before stopping short. She gasped and covered her mouth while a small wad of thread shot out of her abdomen.
Jack said, "There's silk on my shoe! Why?"
Concorde and Illoaide simply replied, "Uh oh!"
...
Meanwhile on the Rift, Lux and Ezreal went botlane and hid on the left bush. Little did they know that Ashe and Blitzcrank were hiding on the right bush.
Elise and Ahri went toplane and hid in the middle bush. Then, Rengar and Tryndamere went towards the right bush and hid.
Finally, Danbi and Syndra took midlane and met at the opposite sides of the clearing. At this point, "Minions have spawned!"
"Your presence is not my opportunity!" Syndra said as she killed the blue minions.
"Yet you are here," Danbi countered, killing the red minions, "so you have me to fight with."
"You are not my priority, fox scum! I look for the one known as Elise."
"If you want to look for her, you chose the wrong lane!"
"I will look for her," Syndra finally said, "after I finish you off."
The sorceress stretched her hand out and Danbi felt herself rise into the air. She kicked her fox legs and flailed her arms, screaming, "Put me down! Have mercy on me!"
"Alright," Syndra replied, "I will!" She made a gesture, and the fox centaur girl found herself flying back towards the base and screaming, "YOU'RE NOT POPPY!"
She landed short of the inhibitor turret, and the magic dissipated, not before blasting the poor Danbi into the air and making her fall down hard. "First Blood!" the announcer cried as Ahri screamed "No! Danbi!" She released three foxfires, and launched them toward Rengar. Her aim was true, and Rengar fell down, lifeless near the turret.
"Nice aim," the Spider Queen commented. "It's for my sister!" Ahri replied.
...
Meanwhile up above the Rift, Concorde was contemplating about the kill when a hand touched him. He looked up and saw a brown haired, muscular man wearing white armor. "Garen?" he exclaimed. "Shh," the knight whispered, "You and your friend come with me to the topmost row. We'll talk there." "Okay," Concorde replied.
Meanwhile, Illoaide noticed him talking to thin air and asked who he was talking to. "It was Garen," he replied, "I know it sounds strange, but it is him." "What did he say?" the drider asked.
"He asks us to go to the top row."
"You go ahead. I'll watch Danbi make the comeback!"
"Just go with me!"
"(Sigh) Fine," Illoaide replied, "but until I see them, I will blame you for ruining the match."
The two elves went up to the highest row, where five beings were sitting at the very top. With the man in the armor was an Oriental man with pale skin, red eyes, and black hair and moustache wearing a ninja-samurai armor, a blue haired woman with fair skin and blue eyes wearing the silver dress, a pink haired woman with purple eyes and fair skin wearing a white shirt, white pants, white gloves, and white shoes, and finally, a blue haired woman with pink eyes and pale skin wearing a white shirt, white shorts, and white sneakers.
"We have come, sir Garen," Concorde replied. "Now I must be seeing things," Illoaide said, "Aren't you guys dead?" "We are," the pink haired woman replied, "We were the champions shot by Deadeye long before you came here. I am Vi, and these are Garen, Zed, Sona, and my sister Jinx."
"Now I must be going crazy," Illoaide replied. "Now, now, Illie," Concorde replied, massaging her shoulders, "Just because they're dead doesn't mean they don't exist anymore." "Alright Connie," Illoaide replied, faking a smile, "I will try to be less afraid of ghosts just because they're around."
"Alright," Concorde replied, "so why have you called us?" "Have you seen Syndra?" Jinx asked. "Yes," Illoaide replied. "Somehow she seems more powerful than we remember," Zed commented, "First blood at level 2? Doran's Ring only? Second skill only? One hit ko. Syndra's OP at this rate." Perhaps we may account that for the markings she has on her hands, Sona added. "Do you know those markings?" Garen finally asked.
"Yes," Illoaide replied, "that purple hourglass is the marking of a certain ghost known as Mistress Hourglass. We encountered her while she was still alive." "She became a monster, according to her grandfather," Concorde added.
...
While they were talking, below in the Rift, the midlane was getting trashed, with two towers down. Danbi was still skirmishing with Syndra, but even if she had an Essence Surge, Charm of Nature aura, and Will of the Fox passive active and a full fighter buold, she still wasn't strong enough to beat Syndra, only managing to whittle her health down to 85%, and even with the others, they only managed to bring her health down to 51%.
The twenty minute mark had passed, and they finally surrendered to the red team.
...
"Aww," Jascisce said, "they lost." "All because of a very powerful Syndra," Lee Sin added, "She's never been that strong before. It's as if something happened to her."
Suddenly, the sky became dark. Strong winds blew in the Rift. A purple hourglass drew itself in the sky and a glowing purple sorceress floated up into the sky.
"Finally," Syndra said, "Elise is mine!" "The game is over, Syndra," Ashe said, "Stop this!" "I... serve... NOBODY!" Syndra said, sending a dark sphere towards Ashe. It landed squarely in her gut and she flew over backwards.
"Now, excuse me while I take Elise to the Mistress," Syndra replied. She used her magic to bring Elise into the air, and then, both of them disappeared in a flash of purple light.
The sky brightened, the symbol disappeared, and the winds died down. However, the people were in a state of frenzy and panic.
"Looks like it has begun," Garen remarked. "Indeed, it has," Concorde added. Then, the five beings disappeared from sight.
