(rather be by clean bandit)
i was aware
of his feelings
for me,
as well as
my own
for him.
believe me,
i sure
as hell
wanted
to pursue
them.
but..
our parents
didn't approve
of dating.
so.
we simply texted
each other,
shamelessly
flirting
as the hours passed.
whenever i told you
and
showed you
our conversations,
you always
gave me
this smile
of
satisfaction,
proud
of what you'd accomplished.
"all in a good day's work,"
you said to me,
relieved by
my happiness.
