Natsu was running down the street screaming loudly in rage. Out of nowhere he snatched onto a man's shirt "oi! Have you seen a bastard look'n guy!?" He yelled "what!?" The guy yelled back "that makes no sense! Let me go!" Natsu released him and ran off again. "Where are you, bastard!?!" Natsu screamed out again, ramming into and knocking over the towns people.

The small blue cat known as Happy was racing after his pink haired friend "Natsu! You dummy!" Due to Natsu's great hearing he could hear Happy perfectly "ehh!? Happy!" Natsu stopped his rampage and turned to look behind him, finding Happy flying to him "you cant go looking for him! You don't even know where he is!" 

"So!? I can find him!" The dragon slayer argued back. "Don't you want to stay with Lushi?" Natsu closed his eyes and sighed "I do, but I have to find this guy first, that way she'll be safe..." Natsu opened his eyes after remembering everything Lucy told him. Everything that happened "I wont allow him to harm Luce..."

Lucy sat on her bed, she was facing the window with her legs pressed against her chest, her chin sat on the top of her knees. After bringing her home they looked after her and nursed her back to health, she was all washed up and clean, although she still felt filthy. Natsu sat in a chair staring intently at her with sad eyes. Lucy was back, but she seemed like a completely different person.

The usual bright, happy Lucy had disappeared and left behind a dull, depressed one, this made everyone's heart ache. "Luce?" Natsu whispered out softly. "Yes..." She replied, it sounded like she tried her hardest no to break down. "You, wanna talk about it?" Natsu knew it was a stupid thing to ask, but he heard that talking about your problems helps relief pain.

After a long time of silence she gave a lazy shrug, slowly the sad blonde turned herself around and faced Natsu, he couldn't stand seeing her in such a state. Happy sat on Natsu's lap, lately he's been quiet too. "Happy, you may wanna leave" Happy looked at Lucy and gave her a weak smile before exiting to room with no complaints.

"The things he did to me are beyond unforgivable... It was so horrible.." Natsu remembers back when Jackal was saying about how she's no longer pure. "He said to me your no longer pure" Natsu said, Lucy began to sob loudly making Natsu jump "Luce, please don't cry" he jumped onto her bed next to her and cradled her in his muscular arms.

"Yes... because of him I'm no longer pure.... yes...he raped me... It was the most horrendous thing that's ever happened to me, I still feel so disgusting and dirty" Natsu had tears beginning to drip out of his eyes he gritted his teeth"how could he!? That bastard!"Natsu yelled Lucy sobbed in his arms, holding onto him tightly "he said he loved me, but his actions were the complete opposite of his words!" Natsu stared down at her, she was so broken. "Luce..."

He hugged her into his chest and cried along with her. 

"I'm so sorry Luce, I promised to protect your future, but I couldn't stop him from harming you!" 

"Please, forgive me..."

Natsu stared down at his balled fist. "The only way to end this, is to end him." Happy looked down at him with sad eyes "Erza said Lushi needs a good friend during this time... that friend is you Natsu" Happy flew off back to the guild with Natsu standing and watching him disappear in the distance.

"I'll be right by your side, Luce" Natsu whispered before rushing off back tot he guild. Back to his best friend.

Lucy laid down on her bed in the infirmary, she had tears streaming out of her eyes and down her face, landing on her pillow. "Natsu..." Lucy sobbed out quietly. "I don't want to be taken away again..." Lucy cried and sat up. "Hey, Luce" Natsu whispered out softly. He entered the room and sat next to Lucy's bed on a chair.

"Natsu?" Lucy lifted her face out of her hands and gave a small smile. "I'm glad you're here. I don't want to be alone" Natsu shuffled closer and placed his hand on her shoulder "and I wont let you be alone, Luce" Lucy smiled and shifted closer to Natsu. "I really thought I could change him..." Lucy muttered, referring to Jackal "...But I was wrong" Natsu looked down. "It was working at first, but then after we left, he changed back..." Lucy closed her eyes tightly and clenched her fists.

"And now, I don't think there's any hope for him" Erza and Gray walked in with cupcakes "here Lucy, we brought these" Erza placed the large cupcake on her lap, Gray handed Natsu one. "We got cupcakes for all of us" Lucy smiled and picked up the cupcake "thank you" the cupcake was chocolate had a swirl of vanilla icing on top. All four of them began to dig in. "These are amazing!" Lucy complimented with a mouth full.

Finally her mind had been taken off Jackal, for now she felt peaceful and happy along side her friends.

"Also Lucy" Erza said after swallowing her last bite of her cupcake "yes?" Erza grabbed a few pillows and blankets from behind her "We'll be staying here with you for a while. All until this fiasco is over" Erza gave Lucy a smile and moved the bed next to Lucy's closer to her. "I'll sleep beside you."

Gray and Natsu grabbed two more beds and moved them to Lucy as well. After they set up their beds they began talking "oi Luce, lets talk about the future" Lucy nodded and adjusted herself back more. "In the future we're all going to go on missions together like always" he had that same wide toothy grin as he said all this. "Yes, I would love that very much! Even if you guys destroy the whole place most of the time..." Lucy snickered the last part.

"No one is going to stop that from happening Luce, we'll protect you."
