Search Party

Lucy had a small smile on her face while she sat down on her bed, Mirajane by her side, bandaging and cleaning up Lucy's injured hand. It had bits of glass stuck in the flesh after punching the mirror, along with some cuts. The blonde would flinch every now and then, but kept it together and tried to ignore the pain. 

"You don't have to worry, Lucy. We are going to make sure you stay safe, with us" That brought a smile to Lucy's face, making Mira smile along with her "you look so much prettier when you smile! Keep it up" Lucy smiled even wider, but began to feel guilty after making her guild mates worried sick. 

"I'm so sorry..." Mira turned away from bandaging Lucy's injured hand and stared at her with a raised eyebrow "for what, Lucy?" 
The blonde began to stutter and quiver "for everything, its all my fault, if I didn't trust him and let him stay with me, none of this would of happened" 
"Lucy!" Mira growled while slamming the bowl of water she used to clean her wounds onto the table. "None of this is your fault! You let him in because your such a kind hearted person, you believed you could change him."

Lucy sat there in shock at how Mira scolded her, but she couldn't help but appreciate it. "Thanks, Mira, I have been beating myself up lately..." Lucy lifted up her injured hand and laughed softly "literally..." Mira giggled a bit before stopping. She quickly continued to fix my wound.

"Bad news, everyone!" Droy and Jet yelled when they rushed into the guild, the doors slammed open loudly, smacking onto the wall, surprising everyone. "What's wrong?" Erza called out while rushing to them both alongside Gray and Natsu.

Droy was panting, unlike Jet, who quickly explained what happened "Someone went on a rampage through a town that's not far from here! Majority of the people were left dead!"

Erza stood still and thought about it "what!?" Natsu yelled loudly, Gray's eyes were wide, but he switched his gaze over to Erza "you okay, Erza?" Gray asked softly while placing a hand on her arm, unknown to him, Juvia watched is jealousy in the background. "Gray-sama, new love rival!"

The scarlet haired mage looked up "what magic was used?" She asked softly, it seemed like... fear was lingering in her voice. Droy scratched his head "uhh, we really don't know, but everything looked as if it had been blown to bits" Natsu, Gray and Erza all froze "it's him..." Gray whispered before turning to go warn Lucy "don't you dare!" Erza almost yelled while grabbing his arm.

She spun him around and grabbed his shoulders violently, "do you want scare the living hell out of her and possibly give her a panic attack!? Moron!" Erza yelled while ending it with a hit to Grays face.

"Go! We must find him! This is serious!" Erza screamed while pointing towards the guild doors. "Natsu, Elfman, Wendy, you all stay here! Gray, Juvia come with me!" Erza continued to split people into groups, half of the mages stayed at the guild, the other half went on a search party for him.

Wendy walked upstairs along with Natsu, Happy and Carla, to keep Lucy company. On the way up, they bumped into Mira, "is Lucy alright?" Wendy asked curiously while hugging Carla in worry. "She's fine, just finished bandaging up her hand" Wendy sighed happily in relief. "That's good, everyone just left for the search party, apparently...he...went on a rampage through a town not too far from here..." Mira froze and looked down "please don't tell Lucy, she's in a good mood, the last thing we'd want to do it scare her again" Natsu smiled "don't worry, we'll make sure her happy mood stays!"

Mira sighed "thank you, I'll be downstairs if you need anything" she began the head back downstairs while the other four headed up to Lucy.

Lucy was laying down on the comfy bed while dazing off slowly "surprise~" Natsu and Wendy called out while stepping into the room, startling Lucy "huh!?" She sat up with wide eyes, until she saw who it was "oh.. hi" A smile crept onto her face. 

"What was going on downstairs?" Lucy asked out of curiosity "uh..." Natsu muttered, he knew he couldn't tell Lucy that he had been spotted in a town not far away "you know, the usual stuff, the guild is always loud" Lucy nodded and stared down at her guild mark. Earlier when he took Lucy, he drew a J on her guild mark. Luckily, Levy found a rare spell that could cure scars, since there wasn't much of it she could only heal a few. Lucy got rid of the scar on her guild mark. 

Wendy looked outside the large window and saw everyone heading off, she panicked slighting and rushed over to the window and closed the curtains. "I think it'd be better if it was a bit darker in here so its easier for you to rest, Lucy" Wendy explained with a small smile. 
"Oh okay, thank you, Wendy" Lucy looked over at the now curtain covered window and sighed "I feel like continuing my novel" Nastu gave her a big, toothy grin "I'll get it for you, Luce" Lucy jumped up slightly "really?" Her smile turned into a small pout "don't even try read it though..." 
A big, cheeky smirk crept onto Natsu's face along with a giggle, before he rushed out of the room to collect her novel "I'm serious Natsu!" The blonde yelled out with a facepalm to end it.

Carla stared blankly with wide eyes at Lucy "are you okay Carla?" Wendy asked while tapping Carla on her shoulder "I-I... I'm fine..." She stuttered out softly, Lucy however knew she wasn't alright.

"Carla, please tell me you didn't see something..."

A short blonde girl sat on the ground with injuries covering her body, she sat there crying her eyes out.

"P-please, don't hurt me!" The girl cried out while shielding her face with her arms. The tall, muscular man stood above her with glowing gold arms. "Hehe, you really are stupid, I'll hurt you anyway I want..." 

For over an hour her screams echoed throughout to forest until they slowly began die out.
Blood covered the ground and the man who just tortured her to death, he raised up his hand and examined it with a calm look planted on his face. "You looked just like her... but obviously not as beautiful..." 

"I'll find her soon..."

His dark honey brown hair was messy and long, his dark glowing golden eyes that were full of hate and pain. 

"When I find her, I'll make sure she loves me..."
