Chapter 13:
I quietly woke up without anyone hearing me. I walked downstairs and there in the kitchen was Jai making toast. "Want some? It's my specialty" I laughed. "Nah I'm good. I think the nerves are slowly setting in, you know, Mia and I are leaving at lunchtime."
"Already? Wow that went by quickly!!" Jai said. I nodded and walked upstairs to find Mia, Luke, and Beau chatting. "Morning Tiegs" they all said. I replied with a faint smile. I didn't want to leave already. I got the suitcases out and Mia and I packed our clothes away.
"I never got your number Tiegs..." Beau said. I ripped out a sheet of notebook paper and jotted it down. "There you are" I said as I handed it to him. He ran downstairs, grabbed his phone, and put my number in.
I walked into the bathroom and got a shower and got ready. Meanwhile, Mia and Luke exchanged numbers, and had a make out session...like usual. Those lip rings of his must have some sort of magnetic pull. After we were all ready, we walked to the car with our suitcases. "Wait...wait up!" Skip shouted, nearly out of breath.
