Chapter 4:
About an hour after that, the captain announced something else. "We are five minutes away from London and are currently making our descent. Please brace for impact NOW." Everyone grabbed onto the seats in front, with their heads placed into their laps. As the plane forcefully got lower, the plane was brightened with a gleaming ray of sunlight. What a nice day to be crashing!!
"I love you Skip" Mia whispered as we almost hit the ground. This seemed to be the slowest landing ever. All of a sudden, the plane hit the ground with force, and it stopped, making the passengers, including Mia and I, to fall backwards.
Immediately, the plane was evacuated and all of our belongings were thrown out of the plane before it caught on fire.
Mia and I ran away from the plane, dodging other planes, even though we were meant to jump inside some sort of emergency vehicle. Without knowing, Mia ran back towards a bus thinking that I was running with her. But no. I continued to run towards the airport entrance, myself thinking that she was with me.
After running for a good five minutes, I reached the airport entrance. "Gosh that was scary wasn't it, Mia?!" I said, nearly out of breath. I turned around and realised that she wasn't in sight. "What the crap...?!!?! Mia's lost!!" I said. I tried to think of ways to find her, but I didn't want to get hit by a jumbo jet or something. But that didn't stop me. I didn't want my best friend getting lost.
After a while of running through planes, I got tired and realised that I wasn't gonna find her. But maybe I was the one that was lost? All this confusion was getting to me and I continued running. Meanwhile, Mia was on the bus, and realised herself that I wasn't there. She got off the bus with all of our luggage, entered security and stood in the line saying "NON-EU Citizens."
