I Wouldn't Change It For The World (Janto)

Chapter 12- Remember ...

Jack's POV-
I watched the door slam, maybe I was wrong, maybe Ianto will never remember me ... He will never remember me. I kept saying these words over and over in my head replaying every moment we had together, every moment I had butterflies in my stomach, every time he smiled at whatever I said, every dirty joke ... Tears formed again in my eyes, I lost someone I loved all over again!
John walked into my room laughing "are you crying?" He laugh went straight through me causing the anger to build until I couldn't hold it in, I ran up to him and pinned him to the wall putting pressure against his neck ready to snap it "bring him back!" I yelled allowing the anger to take over, I pushed harder against his throat "Just bring him back or else I'll kill" I clenched my teeth spitting the words outs like they were poison.

Ianto ran in and pulled me away with all his strength, as he pushed my arm off of John the back of my hand mad contact with his face "Ianto, I'm sorry, I didn't do it on purpose I swear Ianto" I cried allowing tears to slip down my cheek, John pushed me away from Ianto "Honey, are you okay? I told you these aliens are savage creators" John glanced over at me and smiled whilst leading Ianto out of the room

Ianto's POV-
John lead me towards our room, he moved my hand reviling a small cut across my cheek "I'll get some water to clean that cut up" John ran to the bathroom and returned with a small bowl of water, I sat on the bed as he cleaned the small graze on my face "I told you he was dangerous" John whispered but he had a smile on his face which slightly terrified me "I think he hurt me by accident, he did seem really distressed by what he did" I was 100% convinced Jack wouldn't do this to me on purpose, but I don't know why I was so sure I only knew him for a day or so.
Around an hour later I made my way back down to Jack's room and looked through the small window and saw him with his head in his hand. I took a deep breath and stepped into the room "Hey" I said with a smile across my face, Jack looked towards me and tears formed in his eyes "is that because of me?" He asked staring at the small cut on my cheek, I nodded and walked closer towards him "it's fine it doesn't even hurt" I said trying to reassure Jack. He turned his body away from me refusing to let me touch his arm "Jack, I promise" I smiled and put my hand on his shoulder as I did so I felt his whole body relax. "I'm sorry, I would never hurt you on purpose" Jack whispered not making eye contact with me, so I moved his head so I could look into his eyes "I know" I found myself leaning in to kiss Jack, and when our lips met, every fear I ever had, every mistake I ever made seemed to vanish. I realised what I was doing and I pulled away "Omg I just kissed you, why did I just kiss you? I love John" I began to panic, finding it hard to breath I put my knees towards my chest Jack ran instantly by my side "Ianto breath, please Ianto breath!" His voice became faded as I began to hyperventilate, the room began to move just as I went to stand up-

Jack's POV-
Ianto went to stand up suddenly he collapsed, his body dropping towards the cold hard ground, I caught him mid-fall allowing his head to rest on my chest "Ianto?" I shook him trying to wake him up but nothing was working, I felt fear creeping up inside me again "Ianto!" As I moved my body to try and find a pulse, a loud breath from Ianto calmed me completely, I kissed the top of his head rocking him allowing him to sleep on my chest "you probably won't remember, but I wanted to tell you... when I thought you died, you know when Lisa took control of the hub, I never felt so scared, I thought I lost you and that's why I was so mad at you, not because you hid a cyberman in the basement, not because you didn't tell me ... But because you put yourself at risk and I never even knew you was doing so" Ianto's head moved, any time he did so he wouldn't wake up for another hour, so i decided to go to sleep as well, I rest my head against the wall and drifted off to sleep.
I felt Ianto's head lift up off of me "how long was I out?" Ianto asked, I opened my eyes to see a confused Ianto looking at me "I don't know maybe an hour or so" I replied trying to wake myself up "now would be a good time to have a stopwatch" I heard Ianto whisper to himself and suddenly I wasn't able to hold in my laughter, every stopwatch joke we ever made came back!
Ianto looked at me confused, he stood up and wiped himself down and walked towards the door, he looked back and smiled a little "see ya" he closed the door and waved through the window "Love you" I heard myself whisper.
