Tony pushes him outside and he falls off the deck. We all grab somekind of weapon and run out in the backyard. Its us vs. the infected. Were all spread out across the yard. The guy looks at each one of us with his bright purple eyes. The ones that are infected lose their powers and have bright purple eyes. So its not very hard to point one out in public.
"C'mon lets finish this bitch!" Ryan yells while running to him and slams the knife in his chest and he just dissipate. That what they do when they die, they just disappear. We all cheer. All of a sudden about 7 more come out of the woods. All men but one girl around my age that looks extremely scared. What i suppose is the leader says something that i cant understand and they charge at us. Everyone has someone to fight even Lily. The girl doesnt fight she stays back looking terrified. I run up the side of the house and the guy im fighting looks at me confused. He tries to shoot at me but I grab the bullet with two fingers and he starts to run. I throw the bullet at him and it misses but it hits Lilys fight and kills him. She looks at me and gives me a thumbs up.
I walk down the side of the wall and return to fighting. The guy i tried to hit with a bullet has one of our weapons. How did he get that? I get cut in the arm and shoulder pretty badly. I fall from blood loss. Im getting lightheaded and i really hope im not dying, i really cant give up now. He's standing over me and pulls a sword from his belt buckle thats made from a material not found on earth. I brace myself for the worst. When i open my eyes i see the girl running towards us. She pulls the sword from his hands and pushes him away from me. Before i know she plunges the sword in his chest and he disappears. She looks at me with worry on her face and her bright purple eyes looking sad. She puts her hand out to help me up. I hesitate and grab her hand and she pulls me up, i stumble a little and she helps me stand straight.
Its over now. That wasn't so bad.
"Everyone ok?" Tony asks then he sees the girl helping me stand up and everyone runs towards me.
"I think she will be fine." The girl says and Ryan helps me up.
"Oh i am so sorry, i will leave. I wont kill you! I am sorry." She says and starts to run off into the woods.
"Wait!" I yell. She stops and looks back at us.
"Thank you, you saved my life." I say and smile.
"It was nothing." She says smiling back then running off.
So i have no clue if anyone really likes this book.... But whateverr!
