Surviving earth-chapter:2

After school i see the girl from art so i walk up to her. "Whats up?" I ask as if i talk to her a lot.

"Um nothing- i was- err. Just reading." She sounds nervous.

"Oh was just wondering what you were doing, i mean your my first friend here."

"Oh" she stand up. "Im lily" she says putting her hand out for me to take it. I shake her hand. "Im izzy" she picks up her books of the grass and brushes the dirt of them and sets them in a nice and organized pile according to size or alphabetical order.

"Well it was nice meeting you, i'll see you tomorrow." I say to her.

"Ok i'll be here all week." She says and smiles. Just as i was walking away some kid throws a baseball at her and she drops her books.

"Are you ok??"

"Ugh hate that guy, and yes I'm fine."

"Who is that?"

"Thats cody, he's on every sports team in this school. AKA the most popular guy in the school. Hates about everyone but people on his sports teams and cheerleaders." It seems that everyone at the school was against her. I kinda felt bad for her. I picked up the ball and tossed it in the air and caught it. I see that cody's watching me. I look at him and throw the ball at him and hits him the chest. He falls. I laugh.

"Woah your pretty strong." She says to me and i think she can tell im nervous.

"Oh yea I've working out for uh like five years." I say a bit weirdly. Cody gets up and runs off.

"Wow you almost made him cry!"

"Well i guess im good at that."

My and Ryan walk home and i dont tell him about the baseball thing in fear that he might tell Tony and we will have to move. I like it here too.
