CHRIS
"Nigga you sure you wanna do this"? I nodded my head, pulling the last bag out of the cab's trunk. "I'm just ready to go home, she be blowing me".
"Whatever y'all got going on can be fixed, y'all both just too stubborn".
"It wasn't even my fault, I just try to help her and she got the wrong one to take her problems out on. I think I'll leave before I mess around and be in jail". Cam nodded, dapping my hands before I walked into the airport. "Just chill out, but have a nice flight bro. Hit me up when you land".
I walked into the airport, checking-in for my flight. I was leaving two days earlier, and was more than glad to get back to my daughter and regular life. I didn't even know where Robyn and I was standing, as far as our relationship, but I didn't care. I understand the fact that people went through shit, but every time something went wrong, she'd take her anger out on me. How could you fuck me over, after I bought my ass here to help you with your problems.
I knew my temper, so I decided to leave. She didn't have to worry about me anymore, I'll just play the back burner until she learn how to act. She was just being so ungrateful, and I couldn't understand why.
I looked at her as she walked into the room. "Did y'all two talk"? She nodded her head, unstrapping her heels. "He was on some bullshit, he has no excuse or answer to why he left. I just don't understand, but it's something I'll have to live with".
"Everybody got shit that they have to live with, it'll be ok. You got me and that's all you need". She nodded her head, "Yeah".
I looked over at my suitcase, remembering to look in that envelope. I stood up from the bed, pulling the yellow envelope from outside of the front zipper. Robyn looked at me, "What's that"? I shrugged my shoulders, "I found it in my mailbox, just never had the time to look at it".
I tore the envelope open, watching Polaroid photos fall into my lap. I picked a few of the pictures up, analyzing them. A few of them were of a man and Robyn, and it looked as if he was all up on her.
The other few photos were of him waiting outside her job. Not only had I never seen this nigga, but she'd never mentioned anything to me about a man at her job.
"What the fuck". I mumbled under my breath, scanning through the rest of the pictures. "What's wrong"? She walked over to me, taking a few of the pictures from my hands.
I watched her as her facial expression changed, giving me clarification that she knew about that photo. "Who the fuck is that Robyn"? She look at me, cutting me with those green eyes. "Stop yelling Chris, let me explain".
"I'm waiting for your explanation, go ahead". She nodded her. "Well one day, My ex came to my job. He was telling me about some people who were after him, and I was the only person who could help him. When we were together, I worked with a few people for him. I know how to work my way around the situation, so he came to me for help. That's all that happened, that's everything".
"And when did this shit take place"? She shrugged her shoulders, "About a week ago". I rolled my eyes, throwing the pictures onto the floor. "Don't fucking lie to me, don't even do that shit. I had this envelope well over a fucking week, so stop with the bullshit".
"Don't fucking do what, I just told you what happened".
"Man, just shut the fuck up talking to me now. You on some bullshit, and I ain't with it". I grabbed my hoodie from the closet, slipping it on over my bare chest. "Ima just leave before shit get worst, I can't fuck with a liar".
