Weeks later...

I woke up next to Killian, he was still asleep. I was not one for sleeping in. I wanted to but couldn't. I kissed his cheek. "Morning." I whispered. He didn't move, just continued to sleep. "Killian!" I said a little louder, but still nothing. I shook his arm. "Wake up!" I finally yelled. He jumped. "I'm up! I'm up!" He said, then hid his face in a pillow. I grabbed my pillow and hit him with it. He grabbed his and hit me back. I began to laugh. This turned into a full out war. Feathers flew everywhere. We couldn't stop laughing. After about 10 minutes we looked around the room. Feathers covered almost the entire room. "Oops?" I said still laughing. "You started it!" He said back smiling. We walked downstairs for some breakfast.

Killian and I were as great as ever. We bought a small house just down the street from granny's and Killian got a job that made him happy. We agreed to never fight or be angry with each other again. Just to talk about things. We wanted to be together forever.

I gazed over at him making breakfast. "What!?" He said. "Oh nothing... You're just so great." I said as I walked over to him. "You're not too bad yourself." He responded. I punched his arm playfully. "Do you want any help?" I said looking at all the food. "No. I'm making you breakfast. Just sit and relax, love." He answered then lightly kissed my forehead. I smiled "Alright." I said. "If you insist." I poured a cold glass of orange juice then sat down at the table. "What do you wanna do today?" I said as he handed me a plate of food. He sat down across from me then grabbed my hand. "What ever you wanna do, love." He smiled. I just smiled back and began to eat my breakfast. I finished the last bite and Killian took our plates. I stopped him. "No, no I'll get it." I said. "No honestly it's alright." He responded. "You cooked the breakfast the least I can do is clean up." I said with a laugh. Killian knew I wasn't going to let him help so he finally gave up. "Fine." He said sighing and walking up to our room.

Thankfully It didn't take me that long to do the dishes. I actually did not really enjoy cleaning but who does. I thought of how happy we were and how nice it was of Killian to make me dinner. He only knew how to cook a few simple meals but I enjoyed them. I walked upstairs to our room. Killian was lying in bed watching Netflix. I crawled in beside him. He smiled at me and pulled me closer into him. I put my arms around the back of his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. It was soft and meaningful. When we released I smiled at him. "Thanks for dinner." I said. "Well if that's your thank you, I think I'll be making dinner more often!" He joked. I laughed and gave him another quick kiss.

Killian's POV:

I could stare at her forever. She was perfect. I watched Emma go through the movies and tv shows until she finally looked over at me. I snapped out of my gaze and smiled. "What do you feel like watching, love?" I said. "Friends?" She questioned. "Why not." I responded. I wanted to ask her about our future together since we hadn't really talked about it. At least not since we got back together. "Emma." I said. She turned her head and smiled. "Killian." She mocked. I let out a small laugh then continued my sentence. "Could you pause that for a second?" I said referring to the show. "Uh...sure. Is something wrong?" She asked rubbing my hand. "No, no nothing is wrong, I just wanted to talk about our future." I said a bit embarrassed. This was the thing women usually talked about so she might think it's strange coming from me. "Ok, sure!" She said smiling. "Well do you still want everything we talked about before? I mean I feel awful about what happened between us and-" I said until she cut me off. "Of course. I still want kids and well we just got a new house so we can check that off the list," she laughed. "And maybe even a pet someday!" Emma smiled.

Her smile was beautiful, the most beautiful smile I've ever seen. Even when I think I've had the worst day ever, when I come home and see her smile at me, everything bad disappears. "That sounds great!" I hugged her so tight and never wanted to let her go. "Killian...I can't breathe." She said. I released her from my arms and apologized, "sorry, love." She leaned in and kissed me. The kiss continued, getting stronger by the second. I began to bring my hands to her waist pulling her closer. She ran her fingers through my hair bringing her hands to the back of my head and neck. This was getting heated and I wasn't quite sure what to do. I mean when she said she wanted kids I didn't think we would be doing this right now. Maybe in a year or so or even a few months. We missed each other for so long, feeling terrible for what we had done. Maybe this was just a way of making it up to each other.
