The day was almost over and still Killian hadn't spoken to me about what was bugging him. I decided it was time he told me. I took his hand and walked him to the couch. "Killian, tell me what's wrong." I said staring into his eyes. "Nothing love. Really I'm fine." He said looking down, breaking our gaze. "It's not nothing, come on you know you can tell me anything." I reassured him. "Ok, well you know how my father was awful to me. He abandoned my brother and I." He said and I nodded. "Well our baby is almost here... What if I'm a bad father?" He said and looks down in disappointment. "Killian, look at me." I said and he looks into my eyes. "You will be a great father. I have no doubt about that." I smiled at him. "Thanks love, and I'm sorry for how I acted earlier." Killian said placing a soft kiss on my cheek. "It's alright I understand." I said.
I heard a knock at the door. I waked over and answered it. "Hi!" Regina and Robin said in unison. They are such a cute couple. "Sorry to stop by unexpectedly but we couldn't wait to tell you something." Regina said happily. They pause and look at each other. "Our wedding is booked for two weeks from today." Regina smiled. "Congratulations, you too. I'll make sure to mark my calendar." I said and moved aside then gestured for them to come inside. Then both walked inside, of course Robin went to speak with Killian which gave me some time to talk to Regina.
"So did u talk to him?" I asked. "Yes." She said. "And, how'd it go?" I responded smiling. "Well, we are trying for a child so, I'd say it went pretty well." She said with a slight laugh. I hugged her. "Aww, Regina! I'm so happy for you." I said. "Thanks but I'm just a little worried the same thing will happen or we won't be able to have a child." She said looking down sadly. "Don't even worry I'm sure everything will be fine." I reassured her. She nodded her head and we walked over to Killian and Robin.
Killian's POV
Emma and Regina went to talk with each other and of course Robin and I did the same. "So how's it going, mate?" I asked. "Everything's going great. How are you and Emma feeling?" He asked. "Pretty good. The baby's room is almost finished and is feeling ok." I said. "Glad to hear that." He responds with a nod. The girls walk back over to us. Regina holds Robin's arm and Emma takes my hand. "Well we should probably get going." Regina smiled. "Alright well would you like to join us for dinner one day this week?" I asked. Emma smiled up at me then looked back that the couple. "Ya maybe Wednesday or Thursday?" She asked. Regina nods, "Ya I think Thursday will work." Robin nods as well. "Ok, see you then." Robin said on their way out.
Emma goes upstairs and gets ready for bed. I soon join her in our room. She is lying in bed, her hands resting on her stomach. I smile at the sight and crawl in beside her. "Hi love." I said with a kiss to her cheek. She smiled and looked up at me. "Hi." I placed a hand over hers. "How's our little girl?" I asked. "She's great. She was just kicking." Emma said excitedly. "Oh course she stops when I come in." I laughed and rolled my eyes. She laughed as well. "Wait here she goes again!" She said and moves my hand to wear she feels a kick. "Feels like she's playing a game of football." I said. Emma let's out a giggle then looked into my eyes. "Killian." She said. "Emma." I responded. Tears started to fill her eyes. "What's wrong?" I asked in a serious tone. She smiled, "Nothing, nothing." She said wiping her tears. "I'm just really happy. I can't believe this is happening." Emma said with a small laugh. "Well believe it love because this baby is going to be here in a few months." I responded.
"Oh, I also meant to get your opinion on colours for her room." Emma said and I nodded. "And I also think we should discuss names so I don't have to keep calling the baby 'her'." She added with a smile. "Alright love." I said. "Ok so I was thinking pink and-" I gave her a confused look and interrupted her, "wait pink? For a girls name?" I asked. She laughed, oh how I love her laugh. When I hear it, it immediately fills me with happiness and love. "No Killian. That's the colours for her room." She said. "Oh." I said, a little embarrassed. I laugh along with Emma. "Then please continue love." I said. "Ok so I was thinking either pink and gold or blue and silver." She said. "I'm thinking blue and silver." I answered and she nods her head. "Ya, I was leaning towards that also." Emma responded.
"Now baby names!" She said excitedly. "Ok what were you thinking?" I asked. "Well I like Anna..." Emma said. I do like that name but I was thinking about another one. "How about Rylie?" I said with a smile. "Rylie... Hmm... I like it." She said with a smile. "I like Anna also." I said and she nods. "I think I like Rylie actually. Rylie Jones. It has a nice ring to it." Emma said with a smile. "Well love I'm glad you like it." I smiled. She gave me a quick kiss on the lips then turned over on her side and turned off the light. "Good night Killian." She whispered. "Hey, it's only 9:30. If we are going to bed now at least give me a proper good night kiss." I said and raised an eyebrow. "Ok, ok." She rolled back towards me and kissed my lips for a while longer this time. She places her hand on my cheek and deepens the kiss. Soon enough she released the kiss, nearly breathless. "Can't complain about that." I said with a laugh and wrap my arms around her waist. She smiled and turned back over. "Good night love. I whispered close to her ear. She let out a sigh, "good night, I love you." She whispered back. "I love you too." I said and kissed her cheek.
