The Test

It was late afternoon and Killian was almost home from work. I was just about to start dinner when the door bell rang. I walked to the door and opened it. "Regina!" I said. I saw tears in her eyes. Then she just hugged me tight. "What's wrong?" I said a bit confused. She cried on my shoulder. "Emma...I think I'm pregnant." She sobbed. "Regina." I looked at her. "Why are you so up set? This is great." I said trying to cheer her up. "No. No it's awful." She said shaking her head. "Robin and I aren't even married. I don't even know if he loves me." I could see she was getting over whelmed, so I walked her over to the couch and we sat down. "I know he loves you and will stand by you through this. Why don't we go to the drug store and get a test to make sure." I said calmly. She nodded her head and gave me a hug. "Thank you." She said as she released me from the hug. I quickly wrote Killian a note explaining where I had gone. Then I grabbed my coat and ran out the door after Regina.

Killian's POV:

I got home a bit late. I walked in the door and yelled, "Honey! I'm home!" Hoping to get a laugh out of Emma. But no one answered. I called again, "Em?" I said. I walked to the kitchen to get a drink from the fridge. I saw a yellow sticky note stuck to the cupboard. It read, Just went to the drug store w Regina. Be home soon. xx -Em. I smiled at the thought of her and then decided to make her dinner. I turned on the stove and took out some frozen vegetables. The front door sung open. "Hey! Emma called. "Oh hey! I said and walked over to her. "Hi Killian." Regina said. I kissed Emma's cheek. She smiled at me. "Regina and I just have some girl problems to deal with." Emma said as her and Regina walked upstairs.

Emma's POV:

"Ok Regina, let me know what it says!" I was actually excited for her. "Ok." She said nervously as she walked to the bathroom. She came out about 3 minutes later. She didn't say anything but I think I already knew the results based on her face. "So..." I said. "It's positive." She said smiling. I ran over and hugged her. "Oh my gosh! Yay." I smiled. "How am I gonna tell Robin?" She said and the happiness fell from her face. "I'm sure he'll be just as happy and if you want you can invite him here to tell him." I said. "Ok...thank you so much."

Regina's POV:

I didn't really know what to do. How was Robin going to react to this? I decided to call him and tell him to go to Emma's. At least having Emma there to support me would make things easier. His phone rang a couple times until he finally picked up. "Hello?" He said. "Uh... Hi Robin!" I said trying to sound confident. "Regina! How are you?" He responded. "I'm good, but I need to tell you something so do you want to meet me at Emma's?" I said. "Ya, sure... I need to tell you something too." Robin said seriously. "Ok see you soon bye!" I responded quickly and hung up the phone. I dropped the phone and released the breath I didn't realize I was holding. I wonder what he has to tell me.

Emma's POV:

I walked down stairs to Killian making dinner. I snuck up behind him and kissed his cheek. He jumped. "Oh, hey Em." He said. "You may have to cook some more food... Robin is coming over." I said grabbing some more food from the freezer. "Ok!" He said. "Can I help you?" I asked. "Uh...sure, love." He responded. "So how was your day?" I asked. "It was alright, better now that I get to see you." He smiled grabbing my waist. I blushed and then kissed his perfect lips. Our kiss was soon interrupted by Regina walking down stairs. "Is he on his way?" I asked. "Yeah." She said quickly. "Well if you need me I'm here." I said with a smile.

Regina's POV:

Dinner just got put on the table and Robin still wasn't here. I was pacing around trying to think of what to say. Finally I heard a knock at the door. Oh no. My heart starts beating rapidly in my chest. I take a deep breathe and turn around to see Robin walking towards me. "Regina." He said and kissed me hello. I smile at him. He was so amazing. The way his forest green eyes met mine. I felt like we could just stare at each other for ever. Our gaze was broken when he said, "Regina, I need to tell you something." Emma motioned me to come and eat dinner. "Uh...I think we should eat first... Wouldn't want a cold dinner!" I said awkwardly trying to change the subject. He gave me a strange look but then started walking towards the table. The dinner was pretty quiet except for a few jokes made between Robin and Killian which of course, made us all laugh.

After dinner was cleaned up I knew there was no avoiding telling him. Emma knew we wanted to talk now in private. "Killian, uhh...I need your help with something upstairs!" Emma said, going upstairs with him. "Ok, Regina." Robin began to say once he knew they were gone. "The thing I wanted to tell you was-" I cut him off, "Robin wait!" He ignored me and kept talking. "I love you." He said smiling. I smiled back: "You-you do?" I felt tears start to form in my eyes. "Yes. Do you love me?" He responded. "Of course! I love you! I love you so, so much!" I said and hugged him tight. He soon released the hug and said, "What was it that you wanted to tell me?" I took a deep breath. "I-I'm" I began to say. I looked up into his eyes.  "I'm pregnant." I finally said. I watched his jaw drop. I didn't know if he thought it was a good thing or a bad thing. All I know is that he was shocked. "Robin?!" I said worried. "Oh, Regina, I am so happy I really am." He said bringing me in for a hug. I began to cry. But these weren't tears of sadness they were tears of happiness. "Why are you crying?" He asked wiping away my tears. "I'm just happy." I smiled.
