I zip through the forest, Leo right behind me. I would go full speed, But Leo couldn't go as fast. So I sprint, and he does to. We spot the girl screaming. She's running through the mud, clothes torn and tattered. About 4 wolves are behind her, trying to bite her.
They were bigger than Great Danes, their fur looked as though it had been rained on. Their fangs gleamed, and their glowing red eyes glared at the girl, hungry for a snack. But they didn't strike me as Hellhounds...
"Hycanthropes" Leo growled.
"What rope?" I ask. I realise that was Greek. "Werewolves?"
"Yeah." He says. He puts his hand into his toolbelt, but curses in Greek.
"I could really use Hazel right now. They can only be killed by"
"Silver." I finish. I summon Moonshadow, (Swagger form,) and I examine it. It still seem's to glow silver...
"Im going in" I say. Leo starts to protest, but I ignore him. I run to help the girl.
"HELP!" She screams, about to get her leg bitten off. I swipe my blade through the wolf, and it becomes a puddle. I jab at another wolf, but it dodges the blow. I kick its legs, and stab it between the eyes. It turns to mush. A wolf claws my leg. I slice off his head. A wolf throws me to the ground, sending my sword flying out of my reach. The wolf prowls up to me, scratching my arms and legs. He opens his mouth...
And it melts. Leo's standing there, holding Moonshadow. He's panting.
"LEO!" I scream. I hug him tight, Moon shadow disappearing.
"I came as fast as I could." He says. "That was the most dumbest and bravest thing I have ever seen."
"My sword... It must be silver." I say. Leo nods.
"Has to be. But..." He trails off. I notice the girl, staring at us.
She has dark brown hair, and light brown skin. Her eyes are a forest green, and she has a silver bracelet on her wrist. She's holding a iron sword. She has cuts, bruises, and is soaking wet. It looks like she swam across the Missisipi to get here.
"Hi." I say.
"Hey. Who and what are you guys?" She asks.
"Who is Leo Valdez and Jasmine Dragonite. What, well, we'll let Chiron explain it. Come with me." I say. I walk alongside of her. She has a wooden bow slung on her back, and about three arrows.
"Where did you get those?" I ask. She presses a green button on the hilt of her sword, and it shrinks into a flower charm. She does the same with the bow, except it shrinks into a tree charm.
"I found it." She says. "I still dont know how in the world it happens."
"Magic." Leo says. She shakes her head.
"Whatever, fantasy head. Magic doe-" She starts. He lights his fingers on fire.
"What were you going to say?" He smirks. She looks like she's about to faint. She backs off.
"PUT THAT OUT, MAN!" She screams. He does.
"Leo, don't do that until the morning. Im taking her to Chiron." I say. "Whats your name?"
"Flora" she says. I nod. We take her to the Big House, and I knock on Chirons door.
"What?" He grumbles, tail in curlers. He realises this, and blushes. "Umm..."
"Really Chiron?" Leo stares, starting to crack up. I hit him on the arm.
"Leo, this isn't time for discussing why a centaur uses hair curlers." I scowl. I turn back to Chiron.
