Voices. Darkness. Tiredness.
I moan, and force my eyelids open. My body feels heavy, and I feel groggy. I realise im in the Infirmary. I remember Capture The Flag, the wreath of leaves, the Hellhound, Leo...
Im instantly up. The thought of Leo harmed sends a surge of energy and protection through my body. I jump out of bed, wobbling from the sudden pressure on my legs. But thankfully, Apollo's blessing of healing gets my legs used to the pressure in about 2 seconds. I walk over to Leo, and nearly black out again.
There is a giant claw mark right across his chest. Three claw marks, actually. Thankfully, he was wearing armour when the Hellhound attacked, so the cuts arn't as deep as they would be. But, its still quite deep. I slouch into a chair. I feel helpless. This was my fault. My stupid brain! If my reflexes were sharper, I would have been able to prevent this. I start to cry. Even Apollo's blessing wouldn't help much. I try, but my emotions prevent me from being able to do anything. I look down, an realise Im wearing track pants, and a grey hoodie over my Camp Half-Blood shirt. Apollo kids probably put it on while I was out. I pull the hood up, shove my hands in my pockets, and get to the Hecate Cabin. I take the elevator down, and check the time. 9:00. I was out the whole night! That explains why Apollo's kids were climbing the wall.
And why no-one was in the Hecate Cabin.
I run to my room, jump into my bed, and start to bawl. Im not sure if Leo would survive those cuts. After I finish, I notice a silver book on my bookshelf. It seemed to glow. How did I miss it before? I pulled it out, and read the title. It was in Ancient Greek, but I understood it perfectly. It read:
Μαγεμένοζ
A.K.A, Spellbound. I open it.
The writing was in Greek, but that didn't bother me. I lay down, and started to read. Time flew, and all to soon I had finished. The book was amazing! It was filled with facts, incantations (not that I really need them,) potion recipes, recitals, and enchantments. But I swear it wasn't there when I first arrived. I hear footsteps. I peek out of my doors. Lou and someone else are chatting.
"Hey Lou." I say, coming out of my room. She jumps.
"Jas! I thought you were still in the Infirmary!" She says. She looks at me, then to the girl.
"Whoops. Where are my manners? Jasmine, this is Jade. Jade, meet Jasmine"
Jade had a slight tan, which went perfect with her hair, which was a lushious, flowing brown. Her piercing green eyes examined me, as if examing the best place to turn into a donkey part. She reached out her hand, and I shook it. She was in perfect shape. She must be 15, same age as me.
"Nice to meet you, Jas." She smiles.
"Nice to meet you to." I reply.
"Jas, good enough for the wall?" Lou asks. I stare at her.
"The what?" I ask. She laughs.
"C'mon. Thats next on our timetable."

Two days later, I wake up, bright and early. It was campfire day today. I can't wait. It wasnt past curfew or anything, so I got changed, crept out of bed, and visited Leo. The light shone on his pale face, making him even more cuter. I sat down, and held his hand. Suddenly, I started to sing.
"Boy, I say,
If only life would lean our way.
You and me, we'd run away to be
Wherever our adventure waits.Time would be, a distant memory,
Nobody could tell us to stay.
And I've been dreaming ever since I've seen you,
Heaven when you came my waay.
