Chapter 3

''Wait!'' Someone called out as I stepped outside.

I slowly turned around, and there the man was.

''M-me?''

He walked closer until we were a foot away. I stared at him.

''What is your name?''

''I'm... Mai Lee.... I mean, Lee Mai..'' I said shyly rubbing my arm.

He took off his mask.

''I'm Jung Daehyun.''

I almost screamed until he immediately placed his hand over my mouth.

''No don't scream..'' he whispered.

''Get away from her!!!'' I heard my driver's voice yell.

I was captured by Daehyun. His arms around me.

My idol..... was here... he was with me.. and was holding me.

Finally he took his hand away from my mouth.

He looked me in my eyes. ''I.... I think I know who you-''

''I said get away.'' the driver stood by us.

I couldn't believe anything so I was too speechless.

''Can I talk to her?'' Daehyun asked.

''No.'' the driver said.

They said a few sentences in Korean to each other and Daehyun sighed in defeat.

Slowly he walked away.

I pouted, feeling as if I were going to cry.

''Let's go,'' the driver took me back to the car and drove me home.

''You know I'm mad at you.'' I told my driver as I got out of the car.

''Me? What for?''

''Do you know who that man was at the coffee shop?''

''Noo...'' The driver raised an eyebrow.

''Let me guess... A kpop idol you obsess over?''

My eyes widened. ''No!'' I shook my head and walked inside the house.

Mum and Dad were still in the same positions they were when I left.

''Mai,'' mum said as I walked in.

''Ne?''

''You and Hoya are going to school tomorrow morning, I laid out your uniform on your bed.''

''Kamsahabnida,'' I said as I walked up the stairs.

I went to my room and replayed the scene at the coffee shop.

Daehyun was stuck on my mind even when I was trying to sleep.

It was 1:00am and I still couldn't sleep, so I got out of bed and walked to Hoya's room.

''Oppa~ are you awake.''

''Yeah,'' he replied.

I walked towards him and sat on his bed. ''I can't sleep.''

''Me either...''

''Do you know who I met today?'' I asked, feeling my heart race.

''Who? Daehyun?'' He joked.

''You won't believe me.....'' I stared down.

''Cheenjiyo!??(Really), you actually met Daehyun?''

I nodded and felt blood rush to my cheeks.

''Today must have been the happiest day of your life.'' He rubbed my head playfully. ''Im so jealous.''

''It made me happy, but the driver made him go away soon..''

''Im sorry,'' Hoya said. ''Im sure you two will meet again.

''I hope...'' I said.

My eyes soon closed shut as I fell asleep on Hoya's bed.

It was morning and I was pretty excited.

I walked out of Hoya's room and went to my room to my private bathroom.

I showered and eventually got ready for school.

I dressed in my uniform which was a blue button up jacket and a tanned skirt.

I curled my hair and applied mascara onto my lashes.

When I came out of my room, I ran saw Hoya walk out as well.

''You look good in the uniform,'' I smiled.

He smiled back. ''Thanks Mai, you do too.''

The driver drove us both to school.

''Be safe and have fun,'' he told us.

We got out of the car and I held onto Hoya's arm.

''This is the schedule,'' Hoya waved a piece of paper in front of my eyes. ''Mum gave it to me,''

''Okay,'' I said. ''Ill just follow you..''

We sat in class and all the students stared at us. Hoya, who was better than me at Korean introduced us.

The class somewhat smiled as we sat in the back where the desks were empty.

I couldn't understand anything. The entire day was spoken in Korean and nobody could see how badly I was struggling.

During lunch, I called the driver to pick me up and take me home.
