Mai patiently waited by the door for oppa until a black car with tinted windows stopped in front of the house.
Tao waited beside her with his arms crossed. ''Is that him? Your brother?''
''I, I think so but I'm not sure.'' Mai replied. ''Again, thanks for everything... I will definitely keep in touch with you.''
Tao nodded and smiled.
A man in sunglasses waited outside the car and opened the back seat door for Mai.
Daehyun stepped out and rushed to Mai.
''Mai! are you hurt? are you okay?''
''Daehyun!'' Mai said with surprise, her heart started racing. ''You're here? Why?''
''Ah.... Hoya told me he was going to get you, so I told him that I could go myself.......''
''Oh, okay...'' Mai smiled and turned to Tao.
''Tell Xiumin I say bye to him too~'' and she stood on her toes to kiss him on his forehead.
Daehyun's eyes widened but he kept silent.
Mai walked to the car and went inside.
As soon as Mai was in, Daehyun turned to Tao.
''Hey! who are you?'' He said.
''Mai stayed with me, don't worry, nothing happened..'' Tao sighed. ''Take good care of her~''
''I will..'' Daehyun replied, and he went inside the car where Mai was waiting.
In the Plane Ride
''Thanks, for picking me up...'' Mai said, turning to Daehyun who seemed half awake.
The two were sitting together on first class seats on a plane back to Seoul.
Daehyun turned to her and smiled. ''Welcome.. but don't take it too personal. I only came because I wanted to make sure you were safe. and it's kind of affectionate, you know, for people to think I'm a caring boyfriend.''
Mai sighed. ''Yeah. I'll tell them you were kind.''
Daehyun replied with a smile. ''Thanks for going along with it, the whole pretend thing..''
''To be honest I wanted something like that to happen,'' Mai said.
''Maybe it won't be pretend anymore,''
''What?'' Mai's eyes widened.
''What??'' Daehyun repeated. ''I mean, ah, flight attendance please!''
He licked his lips and turned away.
Attendance came to Daehyun. ''Yes?''
''Ah... um, can I get something sweet... Something to help me think....perhaps, cheese cake?''
''Right away sir,'' the attendance kindly said.
Mai snickered. ''It's not a rumor after all,''
''What? rumor?'' Daehyun asked.
''Ah, that you love cheese cake.. I read it on fan fics and stuff....''
''You read fanfics?'' Daehyun choked. ''Don't read those! They're perverted! and in most cases it's not true!''
''Yeah,'' Mai laughed. ''That's why they're called fan fics... like fiction...''
''But still,'' Daehyun pouted. ''Fans don't need to 'ship' their idols with each other,''
