Chapter 16
Nobody's POV
The BAP members gathered around the table as they were told to do so by Manager Kang.
''I wonder what he is going to talk to us about...'' Moon whispers.
''Yeah, probably to continue the Japanese era.'' Bang replies.
''I really don't want to!'' Zelo says crossing his arms.
''Yah- shh.!'' Youngjae places a finger on his lips. ''The manager is here!''
Manager Kang walked into the room and sat down on one of the empty chairs.
He opened the laptop in his hands and sighed as he stared at the screen.
''What's wrong?'' Jung asked.
Manager Kang took his eyes of the computer and looked at BAP.
''Daehyun-ssi, are you dating Mai?''
Jung kept silent for a few seconds as his jaw dropped. ''Aneyo! Buoya? Why would you think that???-''
''Ah.. Are you willing to do TS a favor?, '' Kang interrupted.
Jung was confused. ''Weyh??'
''As we all know..... the fans think that you and Youngjae are gay for each other.''
The members all started bursting out in laughter, except Jung and Yoo.
''And too be honest, it's believable. we don't want our fans to think that do we?'' he continued. ''And since your not dating Mai, we are going to make that official, and we will have Daehyun pretend to date Mai so that-''
''What?!! NOO!'' Zelo stammered.
The members eyed him as he jumped out of his seat.
''What is the reasoning?! We can just tell the fans that they're not gay! We don't need Jung to date Mai!''
''It won't be a real relationship,'' Kang sighed. ''I said to pretend''
Zelo dropped himself back on the chair and crossed his arms.
''I don't want Jung to date Mai,''
''But I can't take it anymore with everyone thinking they both are gay. We're just going to state that Jung and Mai are dating so that the rumor stops. Besides, you guys need a girl in your life.''
The members all nodded except for Zelo, who was the only one that seemed angry.
''Tonight or tomorrow, Daehyun is going to ask Mai to be his girlfriend in public. I'm going to talk to Mai about it and if she says no, I'm going to offer money.''
Jung stared at the ground. ''She's already rich, in fact, she probably has more money than us.''
''We can figure something out,'' Bang stated.
Manager Kang got up from his seat and closed the laptop. ''It's pretend only, arasso?''
BAP nodded.
Jung Daehyun's POV
Manager Kang grabbed his computer and left the room
This whole idea was honestly stupid.
I have to have a fake-girlfriend. And why did Zelo react that way?
At least the girl I have to pretend to date turned out to be Mai...
''Daehyun-ah,'' Youngjae said. ''Mianhe for making fans think that we are gay, and that you now have to pretend to date Mai.''
''It's not even pretend,'' Himchan added. ''We all know what is going on with you two.''
