Michael and Calum were laying side by side in the tree house with warm fuzzy blankets beneath them. Their hands were interlocked with each others, making them truly feel like they were on top of the world.

"I want to go to Paris one day," Calum spoke as he squeezed his significant others hand.

"I hope to surprise you one day by taking you there, then."

"By taking me to Paris? Babe, I don't expect anything more from you than a new jar of peanut butter."

"I know," Michael mumbled as he held up a bag that contained three jars of peanut butter and four jars of Vegemite, which amused Calum more than anything.

"You're an amazing boyfriend, you know that right?"

"I do. I do. But really, I'd love to take you there when we're older. Now can I ask you something?"

"Anything."

"Why do you want to go to Paris?" Michael asked half heartedly, a smile evident on his lips.

"It's the city of love, obviously."

"But this is our city of love, because its where we met Calum. It's the place we became best friends, the place we built this tree house and the place where we fell in love. I personally think that's better than Paris."

"Wow," Calum replied speechless. He leaned towards his boyfriend and planted a passionate kiss against Michael's lips, the both of them smiling and feeling a small amount of teeth but it was okay because they were happy.

"I never thought about it that way."

"Well it's true. Australia is the one place where I can remind myself that we met here. And if we travel the world, I always want to come back here. Because you're my everything, Calum and I love you. I love you a lot."

"Like a lot a lot?"

"More than that."

Calum gave Michael a quick nose kiss before cuddling into the boys chest.

"I'm withdrawing the tickets."

"What tickets?"

"The ones I bought for Paris."

"You bought plane tickets to Paris? Oh my god Calum."

"It's okay. I'm cancelling them, because I'd much rather be with you in our city of love."

"No, its okay. I'd love to go to Paris with you, baby. This may be our city of love, but that doesn't mean we can't go to the place you've been wanting to go to for ages now."

"Good, cause the flight leaves tomorrow."

-

"So, how much of the peanut butter have you eaten already?"

"A jar and a half. I can't eat anymore. And I'm really lazy."

"Too bad, we have to pack," Michael spoke, not giving into the temptation of how cute he looked.

"No, be lazy with me."

"Calum, we can't. If the flight leaves tomorrow-"

Michael didn't get the chance to finish, because Calum had gripped a hold of his collar and pulled him down towards where he was, the colorful haired boy now being on top and the brunette being on the bottom. The boy wrapped his legs around Michaels waist so he wouldn't be able to leave, and used his hands to run his fingers through Michaels hair.

He took this as his chance to make out, but in a loving way rather than a sexual way.

"I"

One kiss.

"Love"

Another kiss.

"You."

Calum may have said those three powerful words between breaths, because he didn't want to stop kissing Michael no matter what time it was. It could have been two in the morning and he'd still want to kiss him more than anything.

"I love you too. Now let's pack."

Calum tightened his grip around the boys waist and pressed even more kisses against his lips, then against his neck.

"Don't go."

"Oh what the hell, I'll give you another half an hour."

And yeah, they are in love in their city of love. Michael was finally happy, all thanks to A Christmas Miracle.
