Michael: nothing. I'm perfectly fine.

Calum: ur lying

Michael: I said that like two weeks ago when I was drunk. Didn't mean anything. And I'm actually telling you the truth so

Michael: please don't call me that. You know I hate my middle name.

Michael: I'm fine.

Calum: Michael.

Michael: Don't worry about me okay? Worry about your girlfriend or some shit. I don't need you telling me I'm not fine when you're not me.

Calum: excuse me for trying to be a good fucking friend bye

Michael felt guilty afterwards. Extremely, actually. He didn't mean to make Calum feel as though he was doing something wrong. He just didn't want to tell him the truth. He just couldn't.

If Calum ever found out about Michael's little crush, he'd end their friendship on the spot. The kiwi boy doesn't seem like the type of person to do that but Michael knows how much he likes girls. It's just common sense really.

The colored hair boy was too scared to send in an apology letter because he'd get all up in his emotions if he did so and that just wouldn't be good. So his only resort was to text either Ashton or Luke and have them be a wing man or whatever because he wasn't good at solving problems like these on his own.

So he decided to make a group chat with both of them in it, knowing they couldn't be too busy to ignore him.

Michael: Ashton, Luke?

Luke: Hi Clifford

Ashton: the big red dog!!!!!

Luke: the red pepper!

Ashton: the tomato. Clifford the tomato. Definitely like that.

Luke: oh oh I know! Clifford the pie!

Michael: okay one stop and two pie has nothing to do with my name or the color red

Luke: I know I just really like pie

Michael: okay

Ashton: what's the matter

Michael: I upset calum

Luke: let me guess he asked you on a date and you said no

Michael: piss off

Luke: well did he

Michael: no he didn't ask me on a date. This is serious. Please be serious so I can stop feeling guilty

Michael: I don't know. I was hoping you'd know how to fix this

Ashton: the malum ship is sinking

Luke: I hella ship it

Michael: thanks so much for the help guys!!!!!

Michael left the chat immediately because he was just so frustrated. He wanted Calum to forgive him because he feels like a total jerk now but he can't help that he's basically heartbroken.

It's his own fault for having hope that calum would become his boyfriend by Christmas. He won't even have a boyfriend by then. His Christmas wish just won't come true.

It'd have to be a miracle for that to happen.
