Relax, it'll all be okay - chapter twenty three (mine)

Ashton's POV

I've always noticed how Calum is so much closer to Luke then the rest of us. It's always been those two. And if it's not Calum, then it's Michael. Of course, that's why I like having Chloe around. Because the boys don't spend much time with me. Lacy tries to spend a fair amount of time just hanging out with me, but it doesn't always work out because Michael sometimes gets mad. Of course, Taylor and Chloe always keep me company. That's why I love them. Honestly, I liked Chloe from the time I met her, but she's too young for me so I gave up. She's like a sister to me now.

Anyways, back to Calum and Luke. Last night I went to talk to Luke, and there those two are, cuddling in his bed, asleep. It was kinda cute. Honestly, Calum confessed to me about a year or so ago that he's bisexual. But he never told me if he liked Luke or not.

Maybe I should confront him? Yeah. I'm not sure where he is... probably with Taylor.

To: Cal Pal
Where are you? I need to talk to you.

From: Cal Pal
With Taylor at my parents. Want me to come back to the house? Or do you wanna meet somewhere?

I sigh. Maybe Starbucks is a better place then here for this.

To: Cal Pal
Sure, meet me at Starbucks! I'll buy :)

It's a deal! See you in a bit.

I know it'll take him at least 10 minutes yo get there, and it takes 3 minutes from our place. So after about 6 minutes, I start to walk. When I get there, I sit down. I can see in the direction that Calum will be coming from and after a few minutes, I see him walking down the sidewalk. I've already ordered up what we want to drink and they said they'd bring the drinks to us.

Calum walks in and looks around a bit before spotting me. I laugh and gesture for him to have a seat. "Have you already ordered?" He asks.

I nod. "Yeah, they're going to bring it to us. Look, here she comes now." I say. Calum nods. When the girl gets to our table with our drinks, I nod. "Thank you. Here." I slip her a $5 bill as a tip. She giggled and walked away.

"So, what did you wanna talk about?" Calum asks. I hesitate.

"Uhm... you know how you came out as bisexual to me about a year ago..?" I ask slowly.

"Yeah. What about it?" Calum asks calmly as he takes a sip of his Mocha.

"I was wondering.... do you like Luke as more then a friend...? You're so close and you're always cuddling him and hugging him..." I say slowly.

I see Calum sigh. "I knew this day would come. Yes. But it would mess everything up. And I don't want that. And it's just... really hard seeing him so sad." Calum says quietly. I see him choke out a sob.

"It's okay, Cal... relax. Everything will be all okay. It's all okay. Just calm down, bud."I say and place a hand on his shoulder.

Calum just continues to quietly sob and I continue to comfort him. Who knew Calum could get this way over Luke? I didn't. But I know what he's saying.
