Alone- chapter 29 (mine)

Lacy's pov

As soon as I walk into my bedroom I feel terrible. I hear Michael walk into the room. "Babe. Why were you and Cal fighting?" He asks.

I sigh. Maybe it's time to tell him. "Mikey... I feel terrible. I said that I care about Luke but I'm the one who told Luke's old bully where to find him. I'm the one who made him feel so worthless. But I wanted him to see that he was ruining everything. I wanted him to feel as terrible as I did " I say quietly.

"What the hell, Lacy?!? Why the fuck would you do that?!" Michael snaps.

"I just told you! Plus I'm jealous! Why should Luke be happy if I can't!" I yell.

"Because Luke is an awesome guy! He deserves this more then anyone!" Michael yells back. "Maybe... maybe Luke was right to get over you. And maybe I'm wrong to still be with you. I think we need a break. I can't deal with this shit right now. Just... get out. Get out of my fucking bedroom Lacy." He says darkly.

I nod and grab some clothes. I call Ashton's mom and ask her to stay at there for awhile. She says it's okay and I go to the bus stop.

Calum's pov

I'm sitting outside the door of my bedroom. Luke locked me out again. Of course my room is right across from Michael's and I just heard everything. "Michael?" I call out softly.

He sticks his head out the door. "Yeah, Cal?" He asks.

"I heard... I heard what Lacy said about what she did to Luke." I say quietly and look at the ground. A tear slip down my cheek.

"Oh Cal... I'm sorry that she did that. I broke up with her though... Luke is my best friend. She's jealous because of his happiness with you. But guess what? You guys deserve each other. I'm happy you're together." Michael says as he sits next to me.

"I love him. And I'm glad that I make him happy." I say softly.

"So why are you out here?" Michael asks.

"Oh my god, Mikey. He locked me out of my own bedroom. Any idea how to get in?"

Michael laughs. "Dude, we can unlock from out here. I have a key to every room in this house."

"Well, come on! Let me in!" I say happily. Michael gets up and goes into his room before coming back with a key. He unlocked the door and I flashed him a thumbs up.

I went into my room and saw Luke sleeping. I went up behind him and cuddled up to him. He stirred slightly. "Calum.. how'd you get in?" Luke asks sleepily.

"I have my ways." I say jokingly. "But Luke. I'm all honesty, Michael broke up with Lacy and kicked her out for a few days. She went to stay with Ash's mom." I say.

Luke nods and turns around, nuzzling his face into the crook of my neck.

"I'm glad I'm not alone. I love you Cal Pal." Luke murmurs.

"I love you too, Lukey." I say.

And then we drift off to sleep.
