Micheal's POV
I get up to Ashton softly saying my name.
"Mikey, you have to get up and go see Lacy. Remember? We decided that last night." He says softly. I simply nod and put on a pair of faded blue jeans (which Luke will later make fun of me for wearing) as well as a plain dark green t-shirt and a dark blue hoodie.
"Ash, can you drive me to your house please?" I ask.
"Of course." Ashton replies.
We go outside and I get in the car. "Mickey D's on the way home?" Ashton asks.
I nod, "Yeah, that'd be great. Thanks, Ash. You're the best. I love you." I say.
He smiles and about 15 minutes later, we arrive at his mum's house.
"Want me to wait out here?" He asks.
"No, Ashton, it's your mum's house. I can't ask you to stay out here." I say. He nods and we get out.
Ashton walks inside, holding the door for me. "Mum! I'm home! Also I brought Michael with me. He needs to see Lacy." He calls out.
I blush. Ashton's mum comes over into the hallway and hugs him. "Ashy, Mikey! How great to see you both this morning. Lacy is in Lauren's bedroom with her, Michael. I'll have Lauren come out and you can talk in there." She says. She then hugs me as well.
His mum and I walk back to Lauren's bedroom. "Lauren, would you like some cookies, honey?" His mum asks.
Lauren jumps up and down with excitement, squealing a yes and runs out of the room. "Thank you, Mrs. Irwin." I say.
She nids, "Anytime, sugar." She says as she closes the door behind herself.
I turn around and look at Lacy. "Lacy.. there's something we need to talk about."
"No, Michael. I need to talk to you. I need to go first. I love you. I love you so much, Michael. And I can't live without you. I'm so sorry for everything I did. You and the rest of the guys did NOT deserve that." Lacy pleads.
I sigh. "Lacy... this isn't easy to say but... I'm not IN love with you. I love you, yes. But... I'm not in love with you." I say.
"I... I guess I don't understand." Lacy whimpers.
"Lacy... there is a HUGE difference between living someone and being IN love with someone. You can love anyone. I love my mum. But I'm nit IN love with her. Do you understand now?" I ask slowly.
She blinks back tears. "Michael.. is this because of what I did..?" She asks.
"No, no, no. It's not like that. Even before I found out about everything that you did, I was thinking about this. And I've come to realize I'm not in love with you. I just live you, just like I love the boys and my mum." I say quietly.
And with that I turn around and leave the room. "Ashton we can leave when you're ready." I say quietly.
