I woke up around noon to the smell of cheese burgers. I crept down the stairs sluggishly. Jazmine was standing on my patio with the door open grilling cheese burgers. I shook my head smiling.
"So how'd you get in?" I asked already knowing that she knows where the spare key is.
"I let myself in."
"Okay better question. Why are you here?"
"This is our last day of freedom before we start at our new school and im not letting you waste it by sleeping so i decided to come over."
"And now your grilling cheeseburgers?"
"What I was hungry!"
I laughed as she plated the two cheese burgers and handed me one. I took a big bite out of mine amazed at how good they tasted. We sat down in the kitchen and finished out cheeseburgers.
"Do you already have your school uniform?" Jaz asked.
"yeah I do actually. are you going to wear a regular tie or a bowtie?"
" A bowtie, the regular ties look funny in me."
I laughed. " I doubt that but okay. I think i'm going to wear a bowtie too."
Jazmine and I sat and talked all day. We talked about everything from our hero lives to tomorrow's school day. Jaz was placed in regular classes which sucks because i was placed in all advanced. The only time ill see Jaz during school hours is our agreed walk to and from school and lunch. It was currently 8:00pm and Jaz had to leave earlier and my dad won't be home until really late so i just decided to go to sleep now so I wouldn't be tired. I set my alarm to 5:30 and drifted off to sleep.
