Let Him Love You

"He's literally in love with you (Y/N)!" Justin argues through the phone.
You shake your head "How can he!?! Its not possible! Besides, I dont believe in love anymore, so it doesnt matter."
"Well clearly it does to him! He loves you! He lights up at the mention of your name! He smiles whenever someone brings you up! He's always hugging you, playing with your hair, holding your hand! Are you seriously telling me you havent noticed!?!" Justin asks, clearly outraged.
You shrug "Like I said, I dont believe in love, so I wont ever notice. Its real sweet of you to try hook us up though. You're a great friend Justin."
He sighs "At least give him a chance!"
"A chance at what!?!" You ask.
"Loving you! I know he'll treat you better than ANY other guy you'll ever meet! He'll take care of you (Y/N)! Give him a chance, show him that you care!" Justin begs.
You sigh "He knows I care Justin."
"Does he?" You can almost hear Justins eyebrow raising.
You nod "Of course he does, he's one of my best friends!"
"ONE OF!?! Duuuude! Do you realize how much you've friendzoned him!?! He feels like he's trying everything to get through to you and its not working, he really doesnt know you care at all!" Justin explains.
You roll your eyes "Sure. Whatever. Look, I've gotta go, someone else is calling me." You tell him truthfully.
Justin sighs "Fine. Bye (Y/N)!" You both hang up.
You answer the other call "Hello?"
"Is it true?" Kellin asks hoarsely.
You raise an eyebrow "Is what true?"
"That Im only ONE of your best friends?" Kellin asks, sounding hurt.
Justin, that sneaky little large teenager dressing asshat dick munch- "Well...yeah..."
Kellin takes a deep, shaky breath "Alright. I'll admit that hurt. Im on my way over, we need to talk." Before you can argue or lie and say you arent home, he's hung up, and you know there's no escaping, especially considering you dont want to hurt him.

You sit on your couch wringing your hands, wondering what exactly Kellin wants to talk to you about. You're only sitting in silence for a few minutes, until your doorbell rings. You jump up and unlock the door nervously, before pulling it open and being instantly pulled into Kellins chest.
"Listen to me, I know men have hurt you, I know you've been cheated on, I know that past relationships have completely changed your view on love, which is why you dont believe in it anymore." Kellin begins.
You shake your head "Kellin-"
He cuts you off "But I also know that you dont just think of me as one of your best friends, because you've called me your best friend multiple times as though I was your number one, and I have treasured every moment in which you have said those words to me. I know you better than you know yourself. I know the difference between you scared face and your shocked face. I know how to make you smile and which jokes will make you laugh. I know that when I need you, you will always be there, the same as I will always be for you."
"Kellin, I-" You try again.
He shakes his head "I know that you've given up on love, I thought I had to, until Justin told me what your exact words were earlier. When Justin was telling you how I felt about you and saying how well I would take care of you, you never questioned that, because you knew it was true, which means you have thought about it and concluded that I would. I know you (Y/N). I've never felt a love this strong with anyone before in my life. I dont blame you for not believing in love. How can you understand something that you've never had? But, if you let me, I can help you understand. I can make you feel so loved that you wont remember what it feels like not to be. Please, give me a chance, just let me love you! I know that you're troubled and you're afraid, but you dont need to be, I wont let you fall! I know that you see yourself as worthless, meaningless and hopeless, but you bring worth, meaning and hope to my every day! Without you, I wouldnt be here! Without you, I wouldnt smile half as much as I usually do! I want to make you happy, and I cant stand the thought of another guy trying to do the same. All Im asking is for one little chance, to prove that Im worth it! To prove how much you mean to me! Please!"
"I know that you feel like I've friendzoned you and that you need to beg on your knees to get out of said friendzone, but you really dont. The reason I said you are ONE OF my best friends is because I have been trying to push back my feelings for you since the day we met. I didnt want to let myself fall in love again after the amount of times it has gone wrong before. I didnt want to ruin our friendship! Its true what you said, I have thought about us, and I know you will take care of me. Kellin, you dont need one little chance, you can have me anyway, because I love you." You explain, before looking up into his eyes.
Kellin smiles widely, and before you can utter another word, his arms are around your waist, your fingers are in his hair, and you're kissing.
