Chapter14: playing with kits

The next day I woke up before everyone else. And I got ready for the very long stressful day ahead. Skyclan was up and moving after the sun rose so I made many go hunting and helped with some chores around the camp. The other clan leaders were the one's to wake up next and looked around the busy camp. The hunting patrol was very successful with the hunt and brought back lots of prey for everyone. After I checked on the cats that were in the medicine cat den were ok, I grabbed a mouthful of prey and laid some squirrels and rabbits on my back I went to the elders den and gave them some prey. I then went to the nursery and gave them the rest. "Thank you so much! We haven't had real prey in moons!" Said a young calico queen named Morningbreeze of Rainclan. I nod my head. And I heard a voice behind me. "Mommy?" I turned my head and there stood Moonkit. "Yes my little moon?" I said in a calm gentle voice. "Can I be a medicine cat when I become an apprentice?" She asked, not looking at my face. I smiled and moved my tail under her chin so that she would look up at me. "Of course you can. You can be whatever you what to be." She then gave me the biggest of smiles. Cloudkit then ran to us and tapped me with his tail. "Tag you're it mommy!" And he and his siblings ran outside. I chuckled and followed them. I wandered out to see them playing hide and seek. So I started to look Moonkit was in the medicine cat den Sunkit and Dreamkit in the fresh-kill pile. Shykit in the elders den and Rainkit and Cloudkit in the leaders den. I walked over to talk with the other leaders, but my kits and pup had other plans. "Hello Bluestar." They greeted me. "Hel..oh.." I said in shock as I was forced to the ground. I opened my eyes and was welcomed by silver eyes and white fur. Aria walked forward and licked my nose. The other clan leaders were laughing at this point and I laughed alone with them. They then left to talk to the elders. "They keep you on your toes don't they?" Lynxstar said. "Yeah. But they are to be apprenticed soon, but for now we should let them be kits." "How many litters have you had?" Shadestar asked. "Three. And I love them all the same. Even the ones who aren't my own." I was looking a Aria while I said that. "But enough about me. We should get down to business at hand and fine your clans a home and establish territories." And I led them to the leaders den to talk.
