Chapter 1: Prank Gone Wrong

It was January 21, 2015 when it all happened.

The SideMen and a few friends had gathered in the mountains at Josh's cabin that his family had owned for years. It was Josh's little sister Ana who had come up with idea to gather everyone at the lodge to celebrate New Years, mainly because she had a crush on Josh's friend Simon. Ana had a crush on Simon ever since Josh introduced him her. Everyone knew that she liked him, especially his girlfriend.

At the time of the incident Simon had been dating his friend Ethan's sister, Sharna. She didn't take too well with the fact Ana liked him, and it was very clear she wanted it all to stop. So everyone at the lodge gathered together and devised a plan to prank Ana in order to get over Simon. The plan was mostly taken over Sharna's friend Caitlyn, who also secretly had a crush on Simon. She thought maybe having Ana get over him was good idea; then there would be one less Simon girl to worry about in the group. Everyone was in on the prank and had agreed to it, except for Ana's sister Elizabeth, Josh, and a few of her friends. Even on the hour of, Ana's friends Nicole and Kaylee tried to prevent the group from doing anything stupid.

"Guys? Guys come on!" Nicole followed the team of snickering teens up the stairs to Ana's room. "This isn't cool. What if we actually break her heart? She already has enough crap going on in her life, why do we need to add onto it?"

The gang turned around to face her, dramatized annoyed looks filled the upstairs hall.

"Awe poor Nicole, always looking after her little friend," Caitlyn walked over and patted her on the head. "It's just a small prank, she'll get over it. Plus I'm just looking out for my girl." She and Sharna high fived one another and walked into Ana's room.

Nicole watched them all walk in Ana's room when she caught a glipmse of Ethan. She grabbed his arm and pulled him off to the side.

"Are you seriously going through with this? Even though you know Kay hates the idea?"

"Why does it matter," he shook his arm out of her grasp, "we aren't together anymore."

She tried to reason with him, be he went on anyways. Sighing, she went into looking through every room in the house trying to find Ana. Maybe if she got to her first she could warn her.

"Ana?" She called out. "Anaaaaaaaaaaaaa?!"

Meanwhile, Elizabeth and Kay sat down stairs. Josh and Vikk had one too many drinks and were passed out on the couch, so while Liz cleaned up the kitchen, Kaylee grabbed a marker and started to draw on the guys' faces. She had just finished writing "WASTED" on Vikk's forhead in big red letters and stood up to look down at her master piece.

"You think he will get that it's a GTA reference?" She tapped the marker cap against her arm against her arm and looked back at Elizabeth. "I mean it's obvious, right?"

"I'm more concerned with the fact that the guys are going to kill you when they wake up," Liz laughed.

"Hmmm... You're right," Kay nodded. "I should have written it backwards so that when he looks in the mirror he could've read it, DAMNIT!"

Liz shook her head and was about to continue to clean up when she noticed a piece of paper on the kitchen island. She walked over and picked it up.

"Anaaaaa!" Nicole's voice rang as she ran down the stairs. Kay was about to start drawing in Josh's forehead went she looked up at Nicole. She was freaking out, runing breathlessly down the staircase yelling the same thing over and over. "Anaaaaaa! Do guys know where Ana is?!"
