"What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to balance on tree."

"Why?"

"Because why not?"

Vikk and Alexis traveled down hill in search of Lucy's bag. From the start, Vikk had his doubts about going off alone. But at this point, he figured that it was best to just not speak about it. Plus, Alexis seemed to be content with the idea of them venturing on their own so he just went with it. Who is he to go and piss off his girl.

They had reached the tree in the path that they had seen last time and Lexi was walking atop of it like a tight rope. Vikk tried his best to keep her from hurting herself, but her spirited nature kind of caused anything he said to be thrown to the wind. Lexi was a girl who did what she felt like doing, even if that meant sometimes not listening to the others. So she walked along the log, one foot after the other. And when Vikk saw her almost slip, he freaked and ran to her side.

"Be careful!" He grabbed her hand.

"Vikk I'm fine." She took another step forward, slipped, and fell of the tree into Vikk's arms.

He looked down at her, rasing his brow with a satisfied look on his face.

"You sure about that?" he asked, and Alexis rolled her eyes.

The couple continued on, talking of how each other felt about certain events and people. Vikk asked Lexi how it felt to see everyone back together after so long and shrugged.

"I wasn't even here the last time you guys came here," she responded. "I mean those girls... what did you guys do?"

"I didn't do anything," Vikk sighed. "Josh and I were passed out when it happened -- whatever had happened. I still never really understood what happened. After that night we all had a hard time talking to each other..."

It grew silent between them. Lexi didn't know who Josh's sisters were; no one outside the SideMen group ever really knew about them until the night they disappeared. The whole headline went viral a few days after Josh had tweeted saying if anyone had seen his sisters to tell him. The whole fandom was shocked. Since when did Joshua Bradley ever have siblings?

About a few months later, Alexis became friends with the girls through twitter. She had a YouTube channel that she didn't really post on, and people kind of knew her through that. One day Kaylee tweeted her congratulating her on hitting 50k subs and from that day on it was history. She became friends with everyone in the group, and soon enough she found herself in the UK making videos with the girls. She met Vikk eventually and then, BAM -- instant boyfriend. And when Vikk asked her to go on this trip with him she wasn't aware of the situation with Josh's sisters.

"Well, I just hope where ever the girls are, they are okay..." her voice trailed off for a second and she saw a short tunnel up ahead. She grabbed Vikk's hand walking towards it. "When did this get here?"

"I don't know and I really don't think we should find out." Vikk eyed the hallow entrance with slight suspicion. "I mean, I already looks like it's falling apart."

The entrance way had been partially cleared, but the dark wooden walls on top seemed to be slanted and caving inward. Rocks surrounded the sides and snow coated the top, covering up any cracks to breaks into the walls.

Alexis turned to face Vikk, walking backwards into the entrance.

"Awe come on, is someone being a little scaredy cat?"

When she turned and let go of Vikk's hand, her screames filled the air as she fell through a set of frail wooden boards blocking the start of the mines. Her body hit the ground face first, her arms out in front of her catching her fall. A sting that felt like needles piercing her skin went through her whole body and then left as quickly as it came. She turned herself over to look up at Vikk still standing on the ledge wondering what the hell had just happened.

"LEXI!" Vikk cried out for her. "LEX, ARE YOU OKAY?"

"I'm fine!" she shouted back, lifting herself to her feet. "I'm down here!"

Vikk bent over the end from where Alexis has fallen and looked down at her.

"Oh thank god, you scared me," he placed his hand over his heard and sighed. "Are you hurt?"

Lexi wiped some dirt from her sweater and shook her head. "No, I think I'm good."

Vikk debated trying to find a way for Alexis to get back up to him, but there was probably no way to even attempt doing that. So he decided to jump down from the ledge vigilante style be with his girl. His feet landed with a loud THUD! and had to grab onto Lexi's arm for a moment to keep from falling backwards.

"My hero," Alexis smiled/laughed holding his wrist as he tried to stand straight.

When Vikk finally got his balance back, he looked tried to pull the whole 'heroic boyfriend' thing by just shrugging and replying, "I gotta' make sure my girl is safe."

The two looked ahead and examined their surroundings:

It was a dark, tight trail ahead that lead deeper into the mines. There was barely any light so Vikk pulled out his phone and shined it in front of them. A mine cart trail showed the way into the mine and hopefully their way out.

"I guess we are going to have to follow this to get out of here," Vikk looked at Lexi and grabbed her hand. "I didn't even know they had mine workers up her before."

"Yeah well, we better get going before the guys wonder where we went." Lexi started walking ahead and Vikk followed her.

The two kept going through the mines in hopes of finding a way for them to exit and get back to the pack. Neither of then really ever knew quiet just where they were going. And little did they know of the predicament they were getting themselves into...
