Nicole took a step forward when she heard a loud noise up ahead. It was a not-so-pleasant sound of an animal, as if it were being hurt. A loud screeching sound, almost like a high pitched scream, followed.

Okay, that did not sound so good...

She had to make a choice:

1. Try and find a way around the noise.
2. Quickly go straight through and continue on.

She thought quickly going through may interfear with whatever was happening ahead so she decided to take the long way around.

She walked around the sound, making her way deeper into the woods. She felt calm now to be away from the sound, but still couldn't help but wonder what was out there. Whatever it was didn't sound normal and she for sure had never heard it before.

Nicole continued walking until she came accross a small cabin by the river. She knew this building, it was were the Bradleys -- or the 'Zerkers' as most people would call them -- had kept some of their belongings during the winter. Except now, the shed was completely empty and half of it was torn down with the ceiling slightly caving in. She walked in and touched the walls, remebering how she had almost had her first kiss with Josh in the shed when they were five. She had always knew Josh liked her, but when Feya came into the picture everything changed. After Josh losing his own sisters and through his depression, Freya broke up with him for the sake of her not wanting to deal with his sadness. That was another reason Nicole had came on the trip; she knew Josh needed someone other than the guys to comfort him over losing the girl he loved. It just wasn't fair.

Walking around the shed, Nicole spotted some weird object in the corner. She dug a bit around some of the debris until she managed to pick it out.

"What the heck?" She mummbled, holding a pitch black gas mask in her hand. "Why would anyone need this?"

She set the mask down on one of the half broken shelves next to her and made her way through the debris she found a little brown, wooden object. It had a weird face on it and had a red line in the middle of its body.

"Whatcha' doing here, little Tiki Dude," she frowned and turned the totem around.

Next thing she knew her eyes went black and a vision appeared:

"Caitlyn?" Simon shouted. "CAITLYN?!"

He climbed over a huge tree in the path and when he landed on the other side there was a loud scream from out of no where.

"-- SIMON!"

Nicole's sight began to reappear as screamed and drop the totem. Backing up against the wall, she grabbed her in spite of what she had just saw.

"What the hell?" She repeated to herself. "What the hell, what the hell, wHAT THE FUCKING HELL?!"

There was a sudden movement outside and another one of those death defying screams. With all the mixed emotions she was feeling she didn't know what to do. She sunk down against the wall until she was on her knees and waited until whatever was outside was gone. Eventually the sound of snow crunching faded away and she was able to leave the shed. Grabbing her bag from ground she quickly continued on the path, hoping that whatever she had heard at the shed would leave her alone.
