"Watch your step!" Vikk said looking up at Alexis there was a slight gap in the path and he didn't want her getting hurt. "Just jump over it, I got you."
Alexis jumped across the the slightly broken wood boards, her blonde hair bobbing in place as she did so. Stumbling back a bit after landing, Vikk grabbed her waist so that she wouldn't fall. The smile on his face said it all; he knew he was being a perfect gentlemen.
Vikk and Alexis started dating around September and were probably the most steady couple in the group, which is ironic considering they were slight opposites. Vikk was a huge softy and was kind to practically everyone, while Alexis was one of those people who would kick your ass if you get on her bad side. Vikk was always there to calm her down, but it was obvious that Alexis was the leader in their relationship (even if Vikk couldn't see it).
Alexis didn't mind having Vikk think that he was the one who would always take the lead though. It was cute to her seeing him try so hard to protect her, it helped her know that he cared. And that was all anyone could ask for in a relationship.
"I gotcha'," he beamed.
"I know," Alexis smiled walking ahead of him.
Everyone else was farther down the path, being dorks as usual. Harry would make some weird, corny joke and every time he did Lucy would threaten to throw a snow ball at him. Jide and Sharna walked along and JJ kept going on and on about how creepy everything was. Simon and Caitlyn had already met up with Josh and Tobi at the cabin and, well, Ethan and Kay were waaaaaay behind everyone. So that only left one person knew was coming -- Nicole.
She was on back at the ski lodge, waiting for her gondola to arrive. No one really knew if she was coming or not, which was how she wanted it. She was only coming for Josh's sake, everyone else was just a bother to her. She was the one who stayed with Josh and tried to cheer him up after everyone left. The only reason everyone else came on the trip in the first place was because they felt guilty for what happened to Ana. Nicole was actually coming for moral support.
As the cable car came to a stop she boarded on. She stared at the snowy mountains as the gondola inched forward, and the day began to turn to nightfall.

"Jooooooosh!" Vikk yelled jumping onto Josh's back.
His weight took Josh for suprise and they ended up topling over. While the boy roughhoused on the floor, Alexis walked up to them and shook her head.
"You guys are idiots," she chuckled and Vikk playfully smacked her leg.
Harry made his way to where they were and smiled.
"Dog pile!" He shouted and collided with them on the floor.
Lucy came up from behind, dropping her bags on the floor and giving them the same look Alexis was.
"And this is why we never get anything done," She laughed and the girls looked at one another.
"Hey have you had any sight of Kay yet?" Lexi asked.
Then a loud voice shoted through the woods.
"SUP BITCHES?!" Kay's voice echoed for a moment, then girls ran up and tackled her with hugs."We missed you!" Lucy squeezed her tight.
"Yeah why did you just disappear like that?" Lexi asked. "You like, went all David Copperfield on us Kay! What gives?"
"I just needed some time," she said and her eyes averted to Ethan. He was trying to get Harry off of Vikk, but he just ended up falling on top of Josh. "My mind wasn't in a good place, but I'm better now... I think."
Lucy and Alexis shared a slight glance; they could tell that something was wrong. But for the sake of them being reunited again, they shook the thought from their brains.
"Yeah well I think that Nicole needs to show up before I text her saying I'm going to kill her," Lucy huffed as she finally let go of Kay.
Lexi took out her phone and shook it in Lucy's face. "You can't remember? No service."
"I'm sure she will be fine," Kay tugged on the ends of her sleeves. It was still kind of snowing outside and she knew that she needed more that just her TMNT jacket to keep her warm. "So -- um -- are we gonna go inside or...?"
"Simon is opening the door from the inside," Josh managed to say as he got up from the ground. "He and Cait just made their way in through the window a while ago."
"Riiiiiiiiiiiiight," Kaylee nodded. "I heard those two started to have a little fling while I was away."
Lucy scoffed.
"Did you just say a 'little' fling?" She rose her brow. "Trust me, there are sooooo many things we need to update you on."
After a while of talking and cathing up and everyone updating Kay on everything she had missed, Simon finally managed to get the door open. Caitlyn handed him one of her bobby pins and he somehow used it to get the lock to give in.
Simon opened the door, a look of satisfaction tattooed on his face.
"Ladies and gentleman," he announced with all the spunk of a football announcer, "your lodge awaits..."
Meanwhile, Nicole make her way up the mountain. She knew the path like the back of her hand since she used to come up to the lodge with Josh and his sisters all the time before the... incident. The trail had basically been the same as it always, except now there layed a humongous fallen tree that blocked her way.
She climbed over it, her feet making a lout THUD as she hit the ground on the other side of the log.
Walking on, sounds began fill Nicole's ears. The one thing she could get over was the sound of the bushes. They occasionally moved at a constant beat which seemed a bit suspicious, like she had been being followed... almost.
After a while the ruffling in the bushes stopped and she came across sign.
"Blacwood lodge," she read out loud. "Only ⅓ a mile away. Thank God!"
She took a step forward when she heard a loud noise up ahead. It was a not-so-pleasant sound of an animal, as if it were being hurt. A loud screeching sound, almost like a high pitched scream, followed.
Okay, that did not sound so good…
She had to make a choice:
1. Try and find a way around the noise.
2. Quickly go straight through and continue on.Which one should she choose?
