"God dammit you can't tell me there isn't a single lead!!!" I screamed suddenly, my fists connecting with the conference room table. Everyone jumped, most likely because this was the first thing I had said in about four days.

I just dismissed myself and grabbed an extra pair of clothes as I shifted, running outside. Suddenly I saw the pack doctor. She was purring and I looked in disgust, even my panther side did too. Yea, I don't talk about being a hyper much, neither does Kat.

All of a sudden I felt it, the wave of adrenaline when I smelt kat on her. As I went to talk I knew I needed to keep it cool. I walked up to her, my wolf thinking she was our mate at first. No, K-Kat is our mate!? Yeah, Kat! I found myself leaning down, my lips almost touching hers before I saw it, the purple in her eyes. Fuck, she is a witch.

I growled in approval when she took her shirt off, secluded in the pack house. It was fake, but I needed as much clues. I suddenly morphed into my human form, but behind a tree so she didn't see my 'Caleb Jr.' When I came back out I skimmed my eyes over her, our wolf purring. Fuck man stop, this isn't Kat.

I felt myself walk up to her, sniffing her neck as if I was going to mark her, but I didn't. I knew daniel had went over my mark, and I knew it must of hurt like hell. So I sniffed her, getting a whiff of Kat's old pack home. As I went to pull away she grabbed my face and kissed me hard. No! Fuck! Kat's panther will feel us and think we're cheating!

And just on time I felt the pang in my chest. My eyes watered and I pushed the doctor woman away. "Stop!" I screamed and she looked horrified. "But baby..!" She screamed and I called my pack members but told them to get the 'wrap.' It was what we called the trap, it would kill a witch instantly.

I smirked when I saw them behind her, so she turned around and I turned her back around, ignoring the electricity going through my body as she was burning my flesh with a soft shock. And then Jake did it, he stabbed her with it and I fell to my knees as she suddenly vanished, her soul dying and her body melting away.

"Alpha?" Jake said, and I growled as my hands dug into the ground, blood seeping out of my fingertips, taking away her magic off me. "K-Kats old pack. She's there." I muttered under my heaves of breath, the pain unbearable. My wolf suddenly came back to reality and could feel Kat's pain. I whimpered, my eyes tearing up. She thought we were cheating.

I felt it. My mate kissing another and I curled up even more. I had been bleeding a lot from down there and I no longer felt like there were babies in my belly. Gracie had told me that I miscarried when Daniel marked me from all the pain. I couldn't do this anymore. My mate now cheating and me miscarrying our babies.

I closed my eyes as I felt pain engulf me, making me scream out in pain. "Helppp!!!!" I screamed, but no one was hear. Everything was dark and I felt betrayed, abused, vulnerable and down right empty.

~couple days later~
(A/N Kat's old pack is across the US, so it takes them a while to get there.)

I'm not sure what time of day it was, or what day it even was that I had laid there just sobbing. I was sticky from sweat and blood. My eyes sore and heavy from lack of sleep and from crying. I felt myself slipping away, and I didn't care. I went to close my eyes when I heard a sound.

Sitting up I whimpered, my whole body sore. I smelt the smell of mint and woods and my wolf whimpered, cowarding back into my mind. I didn't blame her, I wanted to be there too. I looked down as I heard the door open and the light come on. The might burnt my eyes and I squeezed them shut.

"Kat! Oh my god.." He froze when he saw all the blood. He ran over, breaking the chains in half as he suddenly pushed a piece of hair behind my ear. "Kat..baby?" He asked but I said nothing. When he went to pick me up I whimpered and he growled. I knew he was hurt but his wolf was more focused on the scent coming from my body...
